Slightly random but i was cruising the net looking around for supposedly 'pro' wheels, y'know the kind that have proper gearbox and clutch etc. Well came across a brand called Thomas racing wheels, which are supposedly unsurpassable for realism and are amazingly wonderful yadayadayada i hope they are for the price tag (ranges from $300ish to $1000!!!!). Anyway was just wondering if anyone else knows something of this and whether gt3 would support such a system? Also found a funny review of it that some of us may take issue with, enjoy..

"A quick note, these wheels do not have force feedback at all. That's actually a plus for Thomas' target audience though. It's only casual racers or people new to the sim-racing scene who tend to like force feedback. Most of the hardcore racers prefer to go without force feedback for complete control. I've heard of people removing the springs from their wheels just to get better control. They don't want some inaccurate shaking and rattling ruining a lap-time."

never heard of it.

I prefer FF, because it tells me, if I'm on the edge of the track, or going too fast, ... that's the point of it - to give you feedback of the game to improve your decisions. I have 4 steering wheels at the moment, (had 5 until recently, but gave one away to a friend without it), so I think I have some experience. Without FF to me it just doesn't seem right to play. Of course, too strong FF can affect your lap time a bit, but if you set it properly, it shouldn't be a problem. A friend who changed his not FF wheel for a FF one, was amazed of it and improved his times very much.
