Obviously I've seen plenty of the "normal" road cars but recently I've cycled past and OVERTAKEN a Lotus Evora, Nissan GTR and some Aston Martin!
Lets try and ignore the fact they were stuck in traffic....

I recently saw 2 Nissan GTRs...only one was running the other was on breakdown truck. I also saw a 458 Italia....I was gobsmacked..as it came towards me I knew it was a super car (low down and squat), but was white so threw me a bit and the lights with modern leds threw me too, then I saw the ferrari badge and then in the rear view mirror I clocked the exhaust and knew it for sure. I'm always amazed just how LOW down those sort of cars are!!

I've seen quite a few over the years, nicest one is the Aston DB9...I LOVE that car!

oh yeah and on topic, I sure would like to drive them for real! I think the response from the owners would be expletive based tho!

Not sure about stopping and asking drivers to take their car for a spin. I think most may have a turn of language at you then speed off leaving a dust cloud in your face.

With regards to seeing supercars themselves, I have recently changed job and now work near a Modena garage and workshop. Pretty much every half hour, I see ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Maserati's and a few other exotica.

I never get tired of hearing the Yowl as they rip up the road, and me along with my trainees have to look out the window to see what is next up the road.

Even seen F40's, 250GTO's, Countach's, lots of 458's but mainly F430's.

I saw a black MP4-12C early in March when cycling past the McLaren Technology Centre. Amazing car, I reckon it was a pre-production though, since it was going into the McLaren centre.

You guys who live in certain areas, particularly Europe, are pretty blessed! You get to see aleast some of these cars fairly regularly. Here in the states you really have to be in either New York, L.A. or Miami to see them.

Yeah, I really get tempted and I know if I see someone in a mall or something with one I'm at least going to ask to look inside it.

Yeah, I really get tempted and I know if I see someone in a mall or something with one I'm at least going to ask to look inside it.

Here (in Europe) is not easy to see a Mustang... XD

There is an exotic car dealership a few miles from my work. Some fo the cars they sell aren't exactly exotic but quite nice none the less. I've never been inside it but have looked in the windows a few times. I've seen the flowwing cars:

theres a supercar garage at the bottom of my road next to a shell garage, most of the time its full of range rovers, F430s, M3s and RS4s. But on the odd occasion you get something special or rare, atm they have a 2010 997 sport classic and theres only 30 in the UK, A 997 GT2 An M3 frozen edition too, only 25 of them. A GTR Spec-V the only one ive ever seen.

The car i think ill never see again though has to be the 599 GTO

Several months ago I was in a parking lot when I saw a Bugatti Veyron (silver and black) cruising down the next street. I couldn't even hear the engine from where I was.
I also saw a silver Mercedes-Benz SLR when I was at Chick-Fil-A. For some reason it had a Canadian liscense plate, even though it was here in Arizona, thousands of miles away.
Whenever I go with my mom to the Mini dealership to get her car serviced, I always see an assortment of Bentleys at the dealership next door.
There's also this guy in my neighborhood that just moved in a few streets down from me that has a grey Aston Martin DB9 convertible. I barely see the guy. His house is a dump.

lol theres a man here like that, lives in a tiny 2 up 2 down terrace and has a DB9 with a really expensive number plate on it

Go to an autocross or something and just ask the driver for a ridealong. They almost always say yes.

As a bonus you can bring your car and have fun.

LOL, you know the funny thing is this thinking is in a way a reality for me. I am a car detailer on the weekends and I get to drive high end cars the majority of the time.

One client we have has almost the whole AMG line in his garage. He has the SLS AMG, SL63, S63, and an ML63. I have always had a passion for automobiles and this helps me fulfill it every Saturday I work.👍

My favorite car I have drove is a 360 Modena....man the sound was spine tingling and the acceleration was intense.

I have yet to do a ZR1 Corvette and that is my dream car. Everytime I see one on the road, I give the driver a thumbs up.

I hope I don't sound boastful at all, I just like sharing my car stories with other car nuts.

l actually saw a black 599 just around the block from my house, then a 458 around back of my block just driving, another 458 near the parkway, an R8 or two, ive sat in an Enzo, theres an 8C in my town that frequents the car show, a 2010 GT500 convertible (black with the grabber blue stripes.. this thing wreaked of bad:censoredim pretty sure i may have seen a ZR1, several Z06s (actually more C6 than C5), a couple Maserati Gran Turismos, theres a GT-R or two in my town, an M5 (poor thing is driven by a girl in my school who judging by her appearance has NO clue how much power it possesses, kind of like the Cayenne Turbo running around my neighborhood), theres two SL65s, an SL55, ive seen a last gen S65 several times, a few S63s, a couple CL63s, quite a few Murcielagos, so many 911s that i dont even pay attention anymore (even though that last generation 911 GT2 that floored it down the street was freakin unholy), a Vanquish, a V8 Vantage last week, 3 ISFs, a couple M6s, two CTSV sedans, a DB9, and oh yeah the Enzos owner told me he ordered a 458 Italia, a 599 GTO (!!!) and i forget what else, dont think it was an FF, may have been, and his 430 Spyder 16M was also in attendance at the car show, and an LP560-4 Spyder was right next to it. I saw an XKR as well last week (the 2010 car). I saw another Enzo being parallel parked, it may have been the same car, i hope it was! i saw a 911 GT3RS on the ride home as well, and a few Elises, a charger SRT8, and a pair of JGC SRT8s, as well as a couple Challengers. ok i THINK thats everything lol

Last time i turned my head for a porsche was that GT3RS.. and that was a month and a half ago.. i dont even turn my head for 911 Turbos anymore because 911s in general are just too common here.. only if someone is using the car the way god intended will i turn my head twice
