I'm at a very high grade B. All my coursework has been at a very high grade B - can't get higher because of intermediate. My maths exam was incredably easy, and it bugs me to think that i can do better but i'm just not given the chance. I can aim for an A, but unless i get like full marks on the test then i can't get an A in intermediate.

Everyone said the intermediate was easy, really. It's a shame you didn't get the chance to do the higher paper when you think you could manage to do it :(. Oh well, atleast you've got a high B :)

Except if she wants to do AS Maths next year (?) she'll have to take extra lessons to catch up as she won't have covered all the topics higher did.
Exige, are you doing the AQA Maths syllabus? My mechanics exam is tomorrow.
Nope, WJEC :D

Last Saturday I had my [Cambridge University] speaking test. I did well, but didn't use any accent. Hope in the Michigan one this Friday I'll do better.

On school, I had chemistry exam today. I am sure I got more than 16/20 marks. The mistakes I did were like; I called HClO4 hydrochloric acid, not perchloric etc. Many little mistakes but not a huge one.

5 exams left... 👍

ExigeExcel - I am also doing Spanish for A-Level. My speaking went quite well, but the listening and reading on Wednesday are a bit iffy. The essay part should be fine though, as I'm good at them. I had my Business Studies today with OCR. It wasn't too bad really. I think I did well, but I'll just have to wait. Anyone else done Business today, and anyone else doing Spanish or Religious Studies?

I'm doing AS at the moment, which isn't so bad.

I'm just learning small essays for the writing part of the exam, everything else will be pure luck. I'd be happy with a C from Spanish at the moment.

Mine is AS as well. I'll be happy with a C from all of mine too. Hard day's revision tomorrow, as Spanish is on Wednesday morning and Religious Studies on Thursday afternoon.

I'm pretty sure the maxinum you can get on an Intermediate paper is a B, even if you score 100%..

Nope, i was informed if you have high B's on all your coursework, and get top score - 100% - on the paper, then the exameners would possibly give you an A.

Weird, seems like bending the rules. Sure it would be truly exceptional to have 100% but you can't really screw with which grades apply to which papers.

Yeah but your mark from the papers and courseworks gets turned into a score, which then coresponds to a grade score. Which if your get high enough scores, then you will get a A, it may be low, but it could be an A.

ExigeExcel, which board were you with for your Spanish today? I was with WJEC. The listening and reading bits were OK, but the essay was easy. How was it for you? At least I've only got Religious Studies to go now. I hope that everyone else's exams of whatever kind go alright.

WJEC aswell.

Listening easy!? Everyone I know hated it!! I practically guessed most of it (sensibly-ish). The reading and writing however I enjoyed, GTA bashing is always good to read.

I didn't know that the third article existed until I realised that the big fill the gap section wasn't on the article about drugs. I didn't say that the listening was easy, I said that it was ok, but I managed to write 230 words in my essay. My speaking also went well when I did it, so I shouldn't have failed catastrophically. Have you got anything else today? I have Religious Studies this afternoon. I really should be revising.:)

Had mechanics today. Couldn't do one question because I had one of the forces in teh wrong direction and I was against the clock. Frustrating because I was hoping for near to 100% in it and that would be a nice boost to my probably not so good pure marks.

Physics tomorrow, then OVER! Out to town Saturday evening, Oakwood (Theme park) tues/wednesday, beach party thursday. SUMMER!

I know EXACTLY how you feel!

I have one last exam on Maths to go now, next Monday. I don't have to do so well in that, as I've done quite well on the others. It seemed I was the only one in my class that didn't mind my first Maths paper...!

The English today, on the Poetry and Comment/Analyse/Review subjects, was easier than the first. I just hate it when you have to revise 8 poems, then you only get to use one in the actual exam. And even then, you only get one small sub-question on it. The rest is related to the un-seen poem you have to read...

That went pretty well. It was a pretty basic comparison question coupled with one where I could rant at some newspaper.

French tomorrow! I would have jumped off the nearest cliff by now if it wasn't facing Calais. Still, only 5 more after that.

Did anyone else do Edexcel Physics PHY1, 2 & 3 today?

Second time around and really wish I had of had this set of papers last year. I couldn't believe the difference in how comparatively easy it was this year. I'm just glad i've got what I feel are extra banked points, still got PHY4 and 5 to come and I'm not looking forward to doing the synoptic paper either.

It felt good doing them, just hope I don't get shot down when I get the grades back - need BBC minimum to get into Loughborough so hopefully the retakes were money well spent.

Well I've had my science final... I didn't do so well, but neither did the rest of the class.

My math final is tomorrow, it's multiple choice and I want to ace it so I can impress my dad.

I'm in middle school so I don't have any other finals.

:-)

Well, I got my results back for my Dreamweaver web-design course 2 days ago, and I got a Distinction for it (highest grade)! I'm very pleased.

I'm having my exams for webdesign advanced this friday.
Don't realy see any problems with the dreamweaver part, but i foresee trouble with the PHP part of the exam :)
but before that i still have 2 exams. French on monday and english on wednesday.
english is easy, but french isn't.

had ERP, math and networking exams this week, and the easiest one was math :)

My exams got cancelled, how awesome is that!

We began our summer vacation 2 weeks earlier because of that :D

Good luck buddy.

I'm getting a bit tensed up now, I don't really want to know how I've done.

I can't remember when the GCSE results are in, and I don't want to remember, Ignorance is bliss, all I know is its not far away :scared:

Get my G.C.S.E results on the 23rd.... Only 8 days.
Jeez, i hope i do, well. :) Good luck to everyong thats getting there resuts in the next week!

If I remember correctly I got my GCSE results on the 24th last year.

*Edit* And that's what happens when you have to refresh a page a bunch of times to get it to load. Thanks Orange!
