Hi guys,

My g27 had been working fine for 2.5 years, however my friend came over, took a spin with the wheel for a brief bit, I was in the kitchen most of the time, and now this thing is loose. The part that is loose is the shaft that connects to the g27-so I suspect this is unrepairable and this g27 is done. There is now vertical and horizontal play, about a couple mm of movement.

The g27 is still useable....but I HATE STEERING WHEEL PLAY and it is way noisier and harder to control the vehicle due to the shaft itself moving back and forth.

Is there an easy fix like tightening a screw? I highly doubt it...as my first wheel suffered the same fate :(

I have the same but less play since the beginning. Bearing has to be replace, or worst scenario, the plastic case...
Where do I get these replacement parts?

Contact Logitech? Does anyone have any experience with Logitech if they will charge a lot for these parts?

Logitech repair kit: one size fits all, buy new wheel.

Logitech isn't offering any replacement parts, unofficial way can be bought official gear stick part for G27.

Cheapest way is buy "broken" G27 from eBay or similar place and use that as spare.

I personally would ASSUME it's a part out. You see that a lot on RC cars, worth more in bits than as a whole.

Plus, selling an AC Adapter, pedal set, shifter, ect is a bit different than selling a small bit of the mechanism.

Sorry I don't understand your post at all :(
