I don´t know if it was released today, I just saw it a few hours ago.

eXeem™ is a brand new Peer-To-Peer program, which is based on the BitTorrent idea. eXeem™ eliminates the need for trackers as nodes in the program will be taking their role. eXeem™ also features easy publication of files to the network as well as a rating and comments system. eXeem™ contains NO SPYWARE. eXeem™ is free and is ad-supported. eXeem™ is currently still in its beta testing phase, which means that the network might not be completely stable yet. You are still very welcome to give eXeem™ a try and see how it is different from other Peer-To-Peer programs.

As a BT client, it works. As for the search feature, it still needs some work. I wouldn't give up my tracker sites just yet.
 
It installs Cydoor on your computer, which may or may not be successfully removed with Ad-Aware.

There are lite versions of eXeem already on the web which have no spy or ad wares.

Bit Torrent has a legit use. Can't you people understand that? Bit Torrent WAS NOT created with illegal file sharing in mind.

Sorry, I don't use any of these programs. I haven't got a clue what any file transfer program, or this program does even.

No. Talking about the program itself is completely fine and legit. Talking about downloading music, movies, apps whatever with that program is against the AUP. It's a fine line. ;)

So as long as people don't jump out and say "OMG! I'm downloading the latest version of Photoshop, Exeem is awesome!!11!1!!1!11oneoneone", the thread should be right.

eXeem files are not torrents. But you can use the client to download torrent files also.
 
if it installs cydoor, then use the new antispy by microsoft and get rid of it, also use spybot and clean up the stuff that antispy dosn't get rid of, then go and buy norton antivirus and run to get rid of any virus's.

also if any of you use norton or dont, get norton antivirus corperation, it hasnt got all of the spnky UI and dosnt eat all of your ram, its alot better thna the home edition. :)

Version 0.21 just released:

eXeem Public Beta version 0.21 has been released. Most of the bug fixes were done to the network system (nodes). We have also fixed the search crash bug. We added a stop function to New files and we are testing out html type of ads in the program. In this release you will not get any mandatory third party software installed with eXeem.

Update can be done through the program. If the program crashes after the update, restart it. This version might take a bit longer to start and close.
