A really fun little car with loads of power. Make sure you brake and then turn in otherwise it will go wrong in the corners. Slow in, fast out with a lot of grip added in.

Any chance of a Citroen BX TRS tune? I'm having quite a bit of trouble with mine. I would LOVE to see how someone else has tamed this thing.

I choose tyres based on the performance point range and road cars don’t need racing tyres a lot of the time. There are a few races in single player mode where they fit on well but normally sports soft is the maximum you’ll need. Putting on racing tyres will restrict them from a lot of single player events.

I don’t do any online racing and mainly tune them to win the available events we all have access too.

If anyone really wants to put racing tyres on a sports tyre tuned car, they can add them and you’ll find the settings will work just fine but it will raise you pp rating quite a lot doing so.

I logged on today to get the new cars, have all 8 cars sitting ready for when I have time to tune them up. Not much has been said about the Renault engine swap but I think that car will be pretty decent.

It's fantastic. Easily the best swap out of Update 1.61.
 
For those of you who are still struggling with the 600PP Tokyo 12 lap race for this weeks weekly challenge. Here is a quick tune for the Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R STi Version VI '99 with EJ20 Engine swap.

I will put my normal presentation of tune on soon but this should help you all for now.

You can run this setup (SH/SM) as a combo to start the race, when you change tyres you will have to switch to SH all around but you won't pit until lap 9/10. Run fuel map 6 from the start. This will get you to lap 10 easily.

This car is fast.. insanely fast. Straight line speed is crazy and you need to break for corners earlier than you normally do but it won't kill you in the corners when you get there. A very nice handling American muscle car.
