What car? My 700hp a/c cant seem to handle the turns rides like its on ace even with soft racing tires and lowered suspension.

Thanks

Keep the cobra and tune it. You can't just throw engine mods onto car and pray that it also handles well. Just lowering the car alone won't do much to handling as much as fine tuning the suspension. Try these few mods:

Customisable LSD from drivetrain mods
Set your camber for -2.5 front and 2.0 back - handles better in turns
Set your brake bias to heavy at the front 8/5 is about right

If you buy the fully adjustable suspension, play around with toe settings which will help with correcting understeer/oversteer
If you install the chassis stiffening you can adjust that so you can correct oversteer/understeer

One more thing that I find is a great addition is aero package from the GT Auto section. This will make the car tighter through turns. Not sure if you an put a wing on the Cobra...

Morale of the story is, I don't think you can finish the game properly without fooling around with car setup to find the right balance. If you can then I'd be disapointed!

GT40 that you win (don't remember what from)

It's not going to be faster than some of the other cars...but if you get a favorable line up, you can quickly get into the lead position. From there, you can either open up an insurmountable lead, or block.

Just keep exiting and entering until you get a favorable line up.

Anyone else know where you win the GT40?

The Toyota 7 is the prize for the B-Spec like the wind race and is quite capable of winning the races in this event. I just waited until I had the car and went back to that one.

I did it using the Lamborghini Countach LP400, take the lead early and quit the race if you see that damn toyota starting anywhere near the front of the pack, you'll never catch it if it gets out front.

It worked exactly as you wrote. The second race was tough.

Yea it's a no go with the cobra. Dropped god knows how much money to get the HP up and suspension, trans and tires and the thing drives like it's on ice. Seems like some of the turns it can't make at 10 mph without going off the road. Oh well I will try the lambo

I'll vouch for the Countach to pass this cup. I got first on deep Forest and third on the other course (i was 26 seconds behind first!)

Worth it for the gift ticket though!
