Hi guys
Now I don't know about you but, one of the things I have always wanted to do is design a game. You know, make the PERFECT game. Now I know what my perfect game would be. It would consist of first person shooter that has so much realism that you feel the pain!. Let's say a BETTER call of duty(not that it could get any better but you know what I mean).

So guys
If you could create your own game, what would it be like? Explain in detail:-) use your imagination.

So let's turn this into a competition.
The person to explain the perfect game(in my opinion) will receive a car on gt5 worth over 2,000,000 credits. Not saying what it is,but this should be worth the effort of explaining the perfect game. The winner will be announced in exactly 2 hours from thread starting. Once I announce winner I'll send you a friend request on ps. Then send you the car! Please leave your psn I.d at the end of your post.

Please post politely.

And 2 hours later...

And Call of Duty as an example  The new ones are so poorly thought out.

Honestly, perfect game is probably StarCraft Brood War or StarCraft 2 after they finish the fine adjustments for balance.

This may as well be the "Design the perfect game so I can steal your idea and make a quick buck!" Thread, since any good idea is worth more than any car in GT5...

There is no more perfect game than one. It is of Russian design, and looks a bit like this:

There are no cheats, glitches, shortcuts, trade limits, and the difficulty is perfectly balanced against a player's skill.

Providing you can implement it. And the perfect game varies greatly from person to person.

I think Super Metroid is one of the best games ever made; most people don't care for it because it requires some interesting secret finding just to complete.

Zelda: ocarina of time. I win.

Hardly. A Link to the Past can easily be argued as the better game. The OOT argument generally comes down to it being 3D, much like the FF7 versus other Squaresoft/Enix games dating before or after.

TDU2 with GT5 physics, all 1000 GT5 cars as premiums plus Porsche and set in Europe, plus the ability to drive around ALL of north America, japan and Australia.

Vagrant Story. That's the perfectest game I have ever played.

Otherwise, a Final Fantasy VII mixed with FFXII combat elements and graphics would be a perfect game, provided the spirit of the original is retained.

No man! Not actual pain but a tickle would be ok.

There will never be a game to end all games. But I have to say games in the future, say 1 or 2 decades from now, will be so much better overall that if you could hand the most mediocre of them to a kid from the 00s (through time travel) it would be the most perfect game to him, at least compared to this era.

For one visuals will be not photorealistic but virtually real, complete immersion. New cameras will be able to capture depth and will have supreme resolution and for games like GT a photoshoot of a car from 10 or 20 angles (including the interior) would be completed in 10 minutes and the car would be ready for the game! Animation will be even better than Avatar and controls will be even more interactive and responsive.

Leaving the opticoacoustical level the gameplay itself will be far more satisfying by utilizing the more refined controls and a superior AI that could be customised from playful and constantly challenging to outright frustrating for the realism junkies. :ouch:

Add 'Detroit' to 'Grand Prix Manager' to 'GT5'

Detroit you researched and built cars.
GPM you ran a racing team including R&D and sponsorship.

Add these to GT5 as a new section, separate to GTLife & arcade = perfection!

I always thought that a great game would be a massive online war game that incorporates FPS, flight sim and RTS.

Basically it would be a huge map, hundreds of square miles, incorporating all sorts of terrain. Battles on the ground will be FPS like Call of Duty or BF2. Airstrikes and supply drops will be done by flightsimmers from an airstrip based miles away. Insertion in to the battle area will be done by flightsimmers using Black Hawks. Generals will have a sattelite view of the battlefield and can direct the action with RTS.

It's kind of like BF2 but on a much bigger scale and with more realisting flight operations.

Perfect game? Tough one, as there are a lot of different genres I like that couldn't really be combined.

StarCraft (2) comes close as mentioned above, but, currently, I'd probably go with an MMO-version of Red Dead Redemption with a few added RPG elements, such as professions and a wide range of items and special skills to be trained and obtained.
Something that's a mix of World of Warcraft, Oblivion and Red Dead Redemption. I've totally fallen in love with the setting RDR offers...
Oh, and add Beat'em Up-esque controlls for melee combat ;)

A decent FPS with randomly generated terrain for every time you play online would be on the way to perfect for me.

Tough question, because for it to be a valid idea, it needs to possible - and for me to say my perfect game would be GT5 but with 500 real-world race tracks, and over 5000 cars, all premium with a full raft of race customisation for each, is kind of irrelevant, because it will never happen!

A 'great' game has to be involving, it has to be massive scale, it has to have years of playability, it has to look good, sound good, and be produced well in all aspects. It succeeds for me if when I look back it feels like part of my life, and kind of inspiring in some way. GT series is fantastic, but I can look back at GTA games and remember them with a nostalgia that is not for a game, but for a time and a place, when you get the formula for a game right, like both GT and GTA have done, polish the quality, and put in massive amounts of content, like, GT5 with 500 tracks, and 5000 cars.. or GTA4 with a few cities a couple of times larger than Liberty in GTA4 - with a plot that will take a couple of years to get through.

and for reference I don't expect that for £40 (current RRP of most games in the UK)... if there was a GT or GTA that met those criteria, I would pay 2,3,4 of even 5 times the price (maybe even more!)

.. but then the question is, can a console run that? with game engines as they are now, does extra content put it beyond the boundaries of the Playstation 3?

Just my 2 cents, I could be wrong. To be honest I'm happy enough playing Creatures 2, on the C64 (emulator)..

This would be amazing. On a semi-related note, there was a league in the Counter Strike days that would have tournaments only on newly created maps. You'd play a game (a few rounds) on a map no one had seen (unpublished, made for the event) and go from there. Made it far more interesting to handle tactical situations and team play, rather than Dust with AWP at tunnel, etc.

I think alot of us gamers have dreamed to have our input on a game to make it perfect. One thing i think alot of us have thought abut to make a much deeper GTA where u can chose if u want to be criminal or follow the law and work:) Where u can bye apartment's compenies, cars, cloth, stock market,Bet on Race (cars horses dogs), Lotto, Tons of diff work, All this should have "Real Economy"
Feks by going criminal way its easyer to get monye faster.. But make it MUCH more risky. If u get cought u have to do time. This isent far from GTA i know But i MEEN ALOT DEEPER MORE RPG! Imagen Blizzard, PD, ID SOFTWARE, EA games, Rockstar, Activision,Bethesda Softworks,Codemasters,Crytek,Valve Corporation and BioWare devided to make one game:D DEEPEST GTA EVER. Devide game in diff aspects to this video game developers Could be to much and over kill but if it thay would work togheter it would be an hell of a game or a complite mess;)

(I know my english sux so extra hard to explane)
