Explination...take it or leave it.

Alright, here's the deal, I'm probably going to make this post and just leave because I might as well.

The reason for this double life? All to immerse myself into another identity to work on a book that is based off of me. But I just couldn't get into it without creating a double life. It's hard to explain really, but it's like an actor needing to put himself into a roll in order to be a better actor. I needed to do it to write better. Was this right? Not at all, but if I were to say that it was an experiement then I would have failed in my missions.

So here's the facts.

My name really is Joe, Joey, Joseph. I do live in South East, Michigan. I do drive a Blazer Xtreme. I am 18. I have a summer internship at GM this coming summer and one two summers ago, but last summer I worked for the City of Auburn Hills because they gave me more money. When I worked at GM I did infact design brackets for things, and yes I made one for the Corvette.

I used to own a Neon, a Civic, and a Mustang. I got my truck when I was 16 but went through a slew of cars before then. None of them ever worked well.

But ya that's about it, sorry about lieing to you all. But this is the truth and I told you why I did it. It was wrong but I had no other way to figure out how to do what I needed to do.

And honestly it wasn't supposed to last this long, but I became addicted and my novel got better and better with the more things I thought up. I would say about 70% of the stuff I posted was true, about 25% being a streched truth, and 5% being made up some how.

Sorry for all of this.

One last things, I didn't apperciate your comment on my journal. You could have easily displayed your disgust in a better manner.

It's not about myself, it's about someone like me but not. I created a character...and yes some of your personalities are used in the book. It's a psycological way to create characters, it's not the best to do such a thing but it worked for me.

After I read that I thought of the Army commerical where they say If you were to right a book (or was it make a movie) about you're life how long(or was it good) would it be?

My dad bought the the Neon from his company for pretty much nothing. I sold that because I didn't want it, I bought a Civic off my buddy for next to nothing thinking I could do something with it, didn't work out, sold it. Bought a Mustang from Groveland Township's fire depart thinking I could build it up, but it failed so I scraped it.

I'm a writer but it doesn't mean my spelling is stellar. It's never been. You can still write a story and not be the most intellegent person in the world. There is a novel, its in notebooks, pads, napkins, its everywhere. I'm not organized at all. But I am trying to type it out. I've started writing, stopped restarted, and then started again.

The novel is about this guy (me-ish) who starts off life in this upper class family and goes through life trying to find his place. It seems like everything is awesome for him on the outside but on the inside he's confused and doesn't know what to do. So he goes into seclusion and it's a journey into his mind and how he ends up going nuts in the end. This is where I'm at...but don't know where to go for there. I think I want him to kill someone....it's supposed to be a series of books. Think K-pax meets Beautiful Mind.
