He really does write books/sotries, thats not an excuse for making up a lie about a car crash but what is? He admitted the lies and thats all you can ask for...
 
I agree, like I've always said, take what people say about themselves online with a large pinch of salt anyway, I believe Famine is lying for example, he's either not smart, or he's not from Yorkshire, it can't be both :D (only kidding Fam).

But seriously, getting people to feel sorry for him was ****ty, in all honesty. I don't however have a little black book (it's red :lol:), that doesn't mean I'll believe everything he says from now on without the thought going through my head that it might not be true, it just means I won't bring this up all the time, unless lying becomes a proven regular part of his GTP life. So far he's done it once that we know of, and at least he's admitted it and not simply created a new user title or changed his name and pretended to be someone else again.

My advice to everyone, let's see how it pan's out over the next couple of day's.

If you look around various forum's you'll find similar stories all over the interweb, it's not doing you any harm, it is stupid but it's not lethal or anything. It's only damaging the people creating the stories own reputations. If Blazin want's to carry on this alternate life on here his reputation will be completely un-revivable. As it stands, at least give the guy a chance to get out of that mindset and see how he is on here from now on.
 
Changing your name back to Blazin now that everybody knows the truth or what? :)

"Holier than thou" attitude ?.. Just what the **** are you on about ?.... Blazin / Bionic / "whatever the hell his name is" has been lying like his life depended on it, to around 80.000+ people, and you're telling me to "let it go" ?.. This asshole ****** with peoples emotions ?.. I've never had much interaction with Blazin' etc. here at GTP, but when was I told he was hurt in an accident, my stomach turned. I never wish anything bad upon people. but Blazin' ****** with my emotions, and you're SERIOUSLY telling me to back off....

No way...

I promise that I will be clean with you guys and if worst comes to worse I'll just take pictures of things with a GTP sign on it. But with my novel writing I'm a little hesitent with it because a lot of people judge it before it's done.

As for people thinking I'm a sad lonely person, I'm really not. An alter life wasn't because I hated my own. Yes I'm a little confused with life...well was, but what teenager isn't? It's a normal thing for teenagers not to know what the hell they are doing with their life or who they are. I know who I am for the most part now...college does that to you. I really do go to Oakland University, you can look me up on facebook or myspace and clearly see more about me if you'd like.

I guess I'm not all that intresting, in fact I'm rather boring. I hang out with my friends, I go cruising in my truck, I'm a computer nerd, and I just a normal guy. In the sprit of coming clean, I'll answer any questions.
 
And if you guys must see my novel in progree much of it is on my journal, which is one of the main reason for it. The Mind of a Minitrucker thing was a good part of the story. Well bits and parts of the story because it hasn't been put together...I can post all of that if you like.
 
Why did you make up the crash? I won't believe it was because you wanted to see how people reacted.
 
Well, I give Joey two things:

- So far he had the right attitude and didn't bite to provocations.
- He's admitted he was wrong.

In the end I'd say the novel being true or false doesn't matter that much (though proving that wasn't another lie sure would help his case), that was still no excuse for playing with people's sympathy like he did with his "accident". Besides that, I don't care that much about him lying or not about owning Neons and Civics or not...
 
My question is, how long would you have kept it up if Me and a few other members (including PS/Public Secrecy/plague.ghost who did some research as well) didnt question your integrity?

Would you ever have come clean?

With regards to the novel, don't post it up if it's not copywrighted. I'm not trying to give you a back door out here, but if you are serious about this and have hopes hoever small, that the novel will be published, don't post it up without copywright. You've posted more than you could have thought up off the top of your head in the time before coming back on here and admitting what you did, and then uploading the doc file. I'm not saying that alone is good enough, but people take into consideration that even if his novel was done and had perfect grammar and a brilliant story, posting it all up would be stupid of him to do.

I'm a writer but it doesn't mean my spelling is stellar. It's never been. You can still write a story and not be the most intellegent person in the world. There is a novel, its in notebooks, pads, napkins, its everywhere. I'm not organized at all. But I am trying to type it out. I've started writing, stopped restarted, and then started again.

And if you are genuine you bullied and called people names on the basis of lies. Therefore you said nasty stuff to people for no god damn reason.

Like live4speed said, take whatever you see on the internet as a grain of salt...they are lots of lies on the internet, some will make you sad some will make you pissed, etc, but the guy DID admit it was a lie, and I don't see what elese he needs to do...if you don't trust/respect him thats one thing, but continuing to harass him doesnt achieve single thing...

The crash was part of a school project for a Sociology class, the professor said that he wanted us to find out how people react to society's problems. My group picked street racing and I figured that would give an insight into that. I really didn't think before I posted that.

But the professor told us that we probably wouldn't be able to do much with that and guesses we'd fail. Not wanting to be proven wrong by a professor that I dislike, I did it out of desperation.

Eh, sort of – Jimmy’s Woman really was registered to, uh, Jimmy’s woman, but then PS somehow got the login info.

BTW guys, he posted the first part of that story a couple years ago, so there’s no reason to believe it’s not his.

That's the key there, choose to believe/ not believe him all you want. But don't harrass the guy now, he's come back and given his explanation and there's not gaping hole for all to see in that story. Harrassing him and insulting him will only end up with you breaking the T's & C's and the AUP you all agreed to when you signed up as well.
