I took a few pics and wanted to send it to my XMB, a message comes up saying it requires 500mb of HDD space. I have 10gb left on my 80gig HDD and now the yellow hdd light has just been flashing, but I cant move the cursor or access the XMB. When I hit the PS button on my controller, a red circle with a white rectangle pops up (to say the xmb cant be brought up) .I can hold the button down to bring up the 'quit game, shut down console etc' part though. Is this a glitch? Is it just mine? Help :(

Thats the fake yellow light of death, but your ps3 just needs to be rebotted, try holding the turn on button (while it's off) tell you hear it beep twice. 80 gb, had that problem.

Hey Kilzone:

I saw this just before I tried to export to XMB; after all the stories of systems locking up I didn't want to lose my progress. I exported from the GT Life -> Photo Album section, and it worked fine for me. Sounds like your system just had an odd hiccup, and hopefully it doesn't happen again. Have you tried again?

Hey Slip, I did try what was suggested by Reformed, but still no luck. Ive tried googling it and Im still having no luck. Ive taken so many pics.. Its heartbreaking not being able to export them.

Well if it doesn't work the next few times, you can try...don't wanna say it...reinstalling GT5...oh god...

Lol. I will try a reinstall. It doesnt make any sense why it isnt working. How long is this procedure of preparing 500mb to send pics to the XMB meant to take? Anybody? EDIT: Ok. I got it to work! :D , I deleted the mandotary installs of a few games, Oblivion, GTPrologue, Socom Confrontation, Metal Gear Solid 4 , Tekken 6. That gave me a total of 31gb on my hdd free. So, you know that program, Photo Gallery, its from Sony? I think it was corrupt. I deleted it. Then went back into GT5, tried exporting it to the XMB and it worked :D !
