extracting-bug, by copied Cars from Replays ?

Hello...

I'm have copied a lot of original-Cars from Replays, but I'm notice a little bug now !

Any of this Cars, can to share on Rallys in Arcade Mode , although this Car-Type isnt authorized to do this . ( Toyota GT One, Polyphony 001 ... ) !!! Thats none hybrids !!!

I'm checked the .Ini file, but there isnt a wrong data set entry, in the lines 16 and 20 :confused:

Do You have the same problem and how do You to correct this error ?

( and is this maybe to be dependent on the used Version of MK's software, by extracting the Car ? )

Thanks

So long
Werner

I never noticed that before, although admittedly I haven't copied many cars from replays. Are U refering to the AI cars, or the player driven car, or both? I'll look at it later and see if I can notice anything.

Well, it's a very interesting find, and the answer is that the cars extracted from replays have no value for fitment. If U open the ini, U will notice there are no values for fitment,

lines :
464=
468=
472=

I confirmed this by taking an ini for a car not from a replay, and removing the value for those lines. The car could go into rallycourses without the purchase of dirt tires. Also, the ini was for a Griffith 500, which can not even be equiped with dirt tires. This will make it easier to build rally hybrids.:D

Now I'm have tested it, to change the values from the lines 464 , 468 and 472
Well done , the copys are Ok now ! :D

Thank You verry much.

By the way,
If You change the Values from the lines 16 and 20 to this :
16=-2
20=-1

This will make Your Car, to a "Race-Car",
after this mod, the Car can race in the F1 Class :)

Yep, U can also do that by the copy/paste method. I noticed most of the replay cars that are pulled from replays have "3 1" where it should say race. If U have a "race" car in the garage, U can double click on where it says race and copy the code, then double click on the replay car where the "3 1" is and paste the code.
