Extremely slow.

It is now 20:56 GMT+1 (I think) and I have loaded up the front page fine. But I'm struggling to load any of the forums. And new posts only shows 3 results.
I am using Mozilla Firefox, 300kB connection and GTP Lite.

Anyone else experiencing this?
 
Yeah I had a thread about this a little while back. I switched to GT LITE and it helped a lot. Sometimes it still loads slow on 3 different comps. It just has its moments.
 
Thanks for the link CAMAROBOY69 but I was just wondering if anyone was having problems now.
After 10mins it was back up to normal speeds so I'm okay now.

lock stock and 2 smoking barrels, please.
 
yes like I said above it still has its moments. Right now it is doing the same thing for me. THen a second later it is fine then crappy again. Thats usually when I shut it down and go somewhere else.
 
Our server is suffering from a very high load for some reason...I'm having our host look into it.
 
No, our server should be able to handle more than twice that amount without putting up to much trouble.
 
I've noticed that GTP and the GTX have been going very slow at times over the past couple of weeks. My forums and a few Skyline forums i go to don't usually have this problem though.

Then again it could be my computer still.

Ive been here almost a couple months now and it does seem to be getting worse. Good luck with the problem Jordan. Even with GT LITE it can be terribly slow at times. At the bottom left of the screen it will say "38 items left to load" "36 left to load"
 
How are the speeds now, everyone? We had an unruly log file that might have been causing the slowdown.

EXTREMELY FAST AGAIN!!! Great job Jordan. 👍 I even switched back to the default style instead of GT LITE. 👍
 
Well I noticed this a couple of days ago when I got FireFox. I first thought it was a problem with FireFox loading GTP, but I guess it wasn't. It's been stopped now since last night.

I would say it has to do with the normal amount of members online, plus the billions of people in and out of the GTA Forum. :lol:

It was great for a while but might be time to clean out the log file.
