They both have the same specs., but I have heard that the S is the best F1 car, whats up 3with this? Also, I'm new here, so I know this is a noob question.

"F064/H"?

Apparently, the S is better than the H because, and only because, Ayrton Senna drove the S (hence the "S" at the end of the car name) and Damon Hill drove the H (hence the "H" at the end of the car name).

Senna was a better driver than Hill, so I s'pose that's why the S is better than the H.

There ya go. :)

It's too bad Ayrton Senna is dead, though. He definitely would've been one of the greats in racing history. He was on his way to becoming a legend when he died.

Also it costs more becuz Senna is very dead and Hill is not so much dead and things become worth more such as Owen Hart wrestling toys after he fell and died, its just the way that this world works (sigh) God I hate capitilist society...

We don't have to make that choice in PAL Land, we only get the Polyphony 001 and 002...:D

Although the F094/S is more expensive than the F094/H, I'm not convinced that the F094/S performs better. The differences in 0-400m and 0-1000m that were presented as evidence were not statistically significant. And any difference in lap times (And it's usually not by much) could be the result of the driver's belief that the car is actually faster/performs better...
kideng

However...The previous driver of the car is pimped out on the pimpometer...

I was under the impression that he WAS one of the greats in racing history and WAS a legend...?

Check http://www.gt3times.com/view/lap.php to see the difference in laptimes between F094/S (and the P001, the PAL equivalent) and F094/H...

Midfield
#1 P001 - 0:49.080
#1 F094/S - 0:49.216
#1 F094/H - 0:52.231

Apricot Hill
#1 P001 - 0:53.305
#1 F094/S - 0:53.537
#1 F094/H - 0:55.629 (same driver made 53s in the F094/S)

SSR5 Wet
#1 P001 - 1:01.149
#1 F094/S - 1:01.465
#1 F094/H - 1:02.051 (same driver as above F094/S time)

Grand Valley Reverse
#1 P001 - 1:16.309
#1 F094/S - 1:16.966
#1 F094/H - 1:23.733 (bobkart, fractionally 2nd inthe F094/H, gets 1'20.109 in the F094/S)

Complex String
#1 P001 - 3:04.610
#1 F094/S - 3:04.868
#1 F094/H - 3:18.819

The F094/H averages 5.47% slower times than the F094/S on these five tracks - some of this could be due to the fact drivers use the F094/S more because of the reputation, but if the same driver is pulling THREE SECONDS faster on Grand Valley in the F094/S, there must be some truth in it, at least.

When the greatest drivers ever are mentioned, usually there's a fight between Stirling Moss (if you remember him, which most peolpe don't), Michael Schumacher (love him or hate him, he's got the records to prove it), Ayrton Senna or my own favourite Juan Manuel Fangio...

i read on espn.com famine that moss is considered the best f1 driver not to win a championship, i just wanted ur opinion on that or if he did win a championship and i was just being bs'ed

Ok so the P001 is the F094S/H right?
I take it that means the car is supposed to be the 1994 Williams Renualt F1 car right??
Well that car looked nothing like the P001 does for a start it didnt have a 'high nose' like the P001 does. Anyone know what car the P001/F094 is based on???

The P001 is the F094/S (1994 Williams Renault) with a 1995 McLaren Honda nosecone grafted on. Fact. :D

(I have a friend at GT3T who collects 1:18 scale cars and is a huge F1 fan - he's submitted a few reams of evidence for this).

Stirling Moss didn't win a World Championship. Fact :D

Ahh so thats cleared that one up thanks Famine:tup:

I read somewhere once that Moss would have won the world championship 2 times had they used the more recent points system back in his time;)

So maybe Polyphony felt sorry for us and then added in some extra "bite" to the cars because we only got two...:D
