No!!. i just bought a new steering wheel. I never really got into f1 2000 when i bought it ages ago. I dont think anyone else even plays it, but its the only f1 sim i have for the pc. but i lost my cd-key. If no one's gonna be kind and send me a pic. then i'll just photocopy my cd and fax it to them so i can get another cd key.

Yep, I think that's your best plan. Good luck with convincing the manufacturer to give you a new key.

Damnit ... i got the replacement cd key. but it wont fully detect my Logitech force feedback wheel. It only detects some of the buttons. Any ideas on how to remedy this?


You people need to realize that not everyone out there is dishonest , I thought thise was a bunch of honest kind gamers, but i'm not to sure about that now...

You can't expect a 5 year old game to detect a wheel that was made after the game was. See if EA has a patch out for the wheel.

You may have been asking with good intentions and being honest, but if people took everyones word as them being honest, think about that, next time even if you are telling the truth, don't bother. I'm not saying that in an aggressive way, it's just not worth your time and you'll only get similar replys to what you've had here.

As for the problem with the wheel, you must have the wrong drivers installed or they are out of date, contace EA and they will give you the correct drivers or tell you where to get them from.

Here's what I see: You're playing a 5 year old PC game. You complained about loosing your CD key. You complained about your rather new FF wheel not working with a 5 year old game. We told you two solutions to fix the problem, but you have ignored them. Live4speed has helped you without asking for anything in return, but you disrespect him anyway.

o, and i mean the non pro wheel, but i've fixed the problem. u have to start a race, or practice, and then go back and set it up.
