Seems like racing games are finally taking that next step towards the level stick and ball sports games have been at for years

Oh dear, this wont please the casuals and kid players. However for the rest of us, this is exactly what we want...depth. Career mode upgrades on 2016 was a good start, but it was flawed. Taking manor to front row in season 1 was just plain wrong. Good on codies for listening to us fans, then completely redesigned the upgrade side of it. The big questions that still remains, is ffb better? Has the screen tearing issue been sorted?

F1 2017 did not introduce resource points. 2016 did.

Are mechanical failures confirmed in races ? I wonder why they didn't add them before . AI engines blowed up in F1 2015/2016 .

The F1 2017 Development and Research Center reminds me a lot of the in-dept KSP Research Center. :)

Not for me. I just wanna race, not spend time on engineering stuff. That's not for the drivers to worry about, but as long as it's not needed to win races then why not.
