So basically dropped the 70s cars and added the MS cars. Nothing else new. Thats fine, im all here for the Benettons.

Never has done, never will do. The F1 2020 DLC will take the form of the F2 2020 championship and any livery updates from F1 up to around halfway through the season.

I don't have a lot of history with this game or how they do things but I've seen a few trailers and some reviews and I think I want to get it
 
First 40 minutes or so has been fun, the physics have been tweaked enough in a positive direction and while I've only had a mess around in Time Trial with the Merc at Silverstone and the Jordan at the Red Bull Ring I' looking forward to setting up My Team and working through that. Between this and ACC I'm going to be busy for a while.

I haven't done much more than just mess around in a few test sessions, but so far I really like this game. I can see spending lots of time in both career modes and the classic cars are a blast, I like that there is a different hud depending on what classic car you are in as well.

Really my only complaint so far is that I will only have a few days of being towards the top of the leaderboards. :lol:
 
I am glad thy ditched the 70's cars. They were not convincing to drive in the games. The modern era cars do drive lovely though.

Will it be possible to buy the 4 Schumacher cars separately?

It will be yes. From what I saw on the podium pass last night (when it worked) they can be purchased. I can't remember the pricing on them, around €10 for all 4 I think.
 
To my understanding you have to drive as one of the drivers in "my team" mode ?

I wanned to play it in a managment/relaxed style and that is not an option?
 
Would have been nice if we did get the option to have effectively a "B-Spec" mode where you could let the My Team part run whilst you were doing other things but my question I guess I have about that is can you have multiple My Teams or can it be only one team save running at any time as I seem to remember you can do multiple career saves in 2019?

There is an option to "simulate" a session - so you don't drive, the game just simulates what would happen. You won't be able to sit on the pit wall and manage the race though.

Sadly not. You could however start a driver career and do a full season of F2 as your own driver and then simply switch to MyTeam. That way at least you can pilot your own driver in F2 before switching modes.

Sounds like a plan! never played an F1 game before so thinking F2 to learn the tracks and game feel
