Hi All GT4 Fans,

This is my first thread since joining the site. Hope its one that will interest a lot of you.

After doing the 24hr N'Ring and being awarded the F1 car, I decided to go F1 race to get my second F1 car, having done the first couple of races in A spec, I decided to let one go in B spec. Now the beginning of the race went well and I kept the lead...after returning from the shower I was shocked to see that I was 3 laps behind in 5th place...my car was not moving!! The fuel was ok and so was the tires, it had pitted in on lap 36 and by the time I noticed it it was lap 40. I hit the pit and it came back out better but not well until I move the speed setting from 3 to 5, then it started to get back to normal. Sadly so, I won't be winning the race unless I start again.

I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced similar problems with their F1 cars during races. Considering that in real life F1 racing, such things do happen, I'm just wondering whether PD & Sony had deliberately added this to the game or was it just a glitch...

Hope to hear from you all soon.

I think I have heard of problems with cars (any) occasionally getting stuck in the pit on B-spec mode though I have not see the problem myself. I had a problem on the 'Ring once in B-spec (not with an F1 car). It went past the pits and set the pit light on but the tyres were in the red. The car spun about two-thirds of the way round the track and ended up facing the wall. It took about 5 minutes before it managed to get onto the track and get moving again.

I think PD though that B-spec was a good idea but maybe rushed it a bit or never thoroughly tested it and let some potential problems slip through.

You could be right that PD may have rushed it, considering the Asian version doesn't allow you to swap from B to A spec and vice versa during pit stops. Night for my endurance races.

Anyway here's something new I found today. I did the same race again in B spec and it went ok, ended up winning the race. However, one of the AI cars started pitting in about the 12th lap and then it just started pitting in every lap!! It just wasn't moving, must have had a technical problem because by the end of the race it was lapped about 20 times. Any thoughts anyone?
