F1 car weirdness

Is there any differance between the 2 EU Formula 1 cars?

And do you get them at the same series as the US version?

btw, we only got 2 'F1' cars because of the FIA license that Sony ownes, the US versions were to accurate for the EU market so they put 2 other ones in it :)
 
so [pal got less acuretly moddeled f1 cars than the us game. thats unfair why didnt they just change them slightly to make them imaginary cars so we would be able to drive all of them i will never understand pd.

Yes. The P001 is faster than the P002. The P001 IS the F094/S and the P002 IS the F688/S.

Wherever you'd win any F0 (F094/S, F094/H, F090/S) car in NTSC you get a P001 in PAL. Wherever you'd win any F6 (F688/S, F687/S, F686/M) car in NTSC you get a P002 in PAL.

Yet it is odd, especially when you consider the number of current F1 teams based in Europe. Which is ALL of them (except maybe BAR - not entirely sure where they ARE based though).

I didnt take any notes...
And if its classed as a cheat then fair enough - but I did not do anything that cant be done normally in the game. No cheat codes, no hacking or anything like it. I dont normally cheat unless its the absolute last measure. Which it never came to for GT3.
 
None of the reputable times databases takes wheelie times. It's a glitch in the physics of the game. Granted you can take advantage of it, but it is strictly outlawed - along with the triangle-shift.
