ok. so i was buying a f1 2007, then i go to a-spec and knows that i cant drive it there, i go in a online rom and know again at i dont can drive it. why?!?! I mean i can onli drive it in sesason advent. and i buy a car to 12,5 mil that sucks:grumpy::grumpy: some body else did this?

Yep, almost everyone I would imagine. It is stilll worth having but is not a good idea to buy until you have lots of disposable credits. You can race online if the host specifies a F1 race. I would like to race the FGT against it but this is not allowed due to licencing I think.

The F2007/2010 are two of the best cars in the game and they are wasted pretty much by their extremely limited use. Host some open lobby rooms with the F1 restricted option on and you will see people join for the races.

I am currently in a F1 series based out of the Playstation forums, Gran Turismo Events section. Check it out if you want to race F1 regularly.

The two F1 cars never should have been included in the game, they serve not purpose what so ever... IMO anyway

I think the F1 cars are a thriller. If you don't race them, drive them. Does nobody actually play GT5 just to drive?

Capitals are appreciated you know, and proper spelling. And grammar.

I think PD should work out their agreement with f1 and Ferrari so we can race them in open lobbies and A-spec

Did you even read any post in this thread, here I'll help answer your question.

I know that. I am asking why they couldn't make a deal! Dang some rude people on here!

Apparently there are those who just play the game for the racing (and the collecting) and not so much for the driving- sad. I'm glad I'm not one of them as I do spend 99.9% of my time just me, a car and a track du jour (or two).

Yes, the lack of events for the Ferrari F1 cars suck.

But the actual cars are a ton of fun to drive, and are amazing to look at.

Yes I know I'm bad at English. :grumpy: I'm tired of people to coment it all the time!!

Limited use, totally, but they are great cars BUT, you should have done your homework first, i bought both of mine and knew all about their limited use.

So long as you try your best - particularly with capitals - the staff are fine with it. Yes, your first post could have been better in that regard, but you don't have a PM sitting in your inbox right now titled "You have received an Infraction at GTP Forums", so you haven't attracted the staff's attention particularly. Largely because, although you haven't filled out your location field appropriately, your signature says you're from Norway and from your sentence structure English is clearly not your first language - we may be painted as evil, but we're understanding of this.

However, it is part of the AUP that you at least try your best and you agreed to that AUP when you joined the site, so there is no excuse for not trying - you could easily have read the AUP, figured that wasn't something you could meet and not joined.

I don't think we need to say any more on this point.

When I bought the Ferrari F10 I was so buzzing that I finally got an F1 car but it was the biggest mistake I did. 10,000,000 CR for a car you can only really use in the normal mode and online when others have an F1. I'd recommend just buying a Formula Gran Turismo, alot cheaper, more powerful, and it's great for me because most of my friends have them.

Akmuq - It would be very helpful if you would provide me with an explaination rather than just provide a dunce. Any chance?

You can use it online, you just need to set the "F1 restriction" option.

This makes the car worth owning.

In my opinion the FGT is alot easier to drive than the F10 with all aids off, others will disagree as that is just my opinion but when my friend tried an F10 at another person's house he agreed that the FGT is easier.

Despite a lot of haters of the FGT, with a basic tune it is IMO the most exciting car in the game. Sure it could use some more downforce but it keeps you on your toes :)

I have both F1 Ferraris and they are incredibly fun to drive. It is a shame they can't be used in regular races because that would really make the price tag worth it. Instead, they are limited in use and not a lot of people spend the credits to get one let alone both. Like somebody else said, it is probably over licensing.

I would love to do F'10 vs F2007 vs FGT vs X2010 online.

EDIT: ^ The FGT is a great car but it always seems to loose traction in the rear when braking or going through corners at moderately high speeds. This is unless you turn on driving aids which completely fixes the problem on a base tune.

Yeah a lot of people complain about this and they have the right to because you can't really use them anywhere.

With all the credits being thrown around for the last few months I have bought both f1's just to spend some credits. They are a blast to drive in the F1 seasonals. (with huge payoffs)

No car is a waste if you enjoy driving it. We're not talking about real money here so who cares how much it costs? I've only driven the FGT and F1 cars in my own lobbies, tuning them in case I race them online one day. I outqualified pole after hopping in the Ferrari for a few laps after watching the German Grand Prix...lol.

You can't race it because of licensing from FIA. Why do you think there aren't any McLaren or Renault F1 cars? Ferrari won't allow people to race their F1 cars with normal cars. I'm saving up to buy one, but I don't care about the fact that you can't race them. I drive for fun.
