no muscle burn, but i was sweating like a criminal under a bright light....lol

they are pretty intense races in my opinion.

Agreed, I wouldn't call them fun but they're one hell of a challenge. Some of the most frustrating events so far in the game - everything happens so fast and there's so little margin for error.

Im just having a nightmare with the Nürburgring GP race got to lap number 8 and was clear in first place. then i hit a curb and span out. Was furious with myself. Now i cant seem to string enough clean laps together to complete the challenge.

Same problem I have - the problem isn't speed but accuracy. The cars are so fast that there's very little margin for error and if you do clip a curve or put a wheel off the track it's goodbye race. I find it very, very difficult to put together the ten clean laps required.

OTOH I'm 54 and my reflexes may not be what they were...

You should have bought the F2007, it's a better car. The payout on Suzuka is 205,000cr/44,000xp. Well worth the 15 minute drive. The best payout/time spent in the game as a matter of fact. Go back and do it again, get your info right.

just tried F7 and it is faster i had a good lead by lap 7 then totally threw it away haha :( 10 seconds to -30+ not good but all in all fantastic car

I dont find them demanding and i play on 10 with my G27. I ache a tiny bit when im drifting for ages though

The Indy race in Dreamcar gets you ~30,000xp and ~80,000cr in a little over 5 minutes with the X1.

Now, if you want to talk about fun... then, sure. 10 laps in the Ferrari around suzuka is a lot more engaging than 30 laps around Indy in the X1. But Indy is a better race if all you're concerned about is cr/hr or xp/hr.

I'm definietly not feeling any sort of muscle burn when doing these races, Using a G27 with the ffb set to 10.

aren't you special.

now go drive a real F1 car

A bit off topic, but if you really want to sweat playing GT5, go and do some hot laps with the Ruf CTR "Yellowbird".
Only 3 laps at Laguna Seca this morning made me sweat like after a bit of footing :D

Or if you happen to have earned or duped an X1. Which I have neither. I tried the Vettle challenge and it was like crazy out of control. B-specing is just not cutting it for me as well. So the F2007 Suzuka is the best option for now, until tonight when they take it away. ( I hope I didn't just jinx all of us):nervous:
