well to be honest it would be very difucult because the extreme power and the fact you can only have racing tires so i would say no on that one

I got some pretty crazy lookin driftin action goin on in my F1 during a race with bald tires. Wasn't on purpose though, lol, just didn't want to pit for the last lap.

so you think it is possible??? hmm might have to give it try then lol :D

I did it.

It took me 2 hours of tuning, but I finally got it to work. You almost have to unlearn everything you know about drifting to learn this car, its a whole new game.

Anyone who has successfully drifted in the F1 car should totally post their settings, I would try it out for sure. I've tried drifting the McLaren F1 a few times, but I can't even get that thing to drift successfully.

I sold my F1 car so I could have the money to buy a black GT-One (you know, on the last day of the used car cycle).

If I ever decide to do the 24 hour Nuremburg again, and retune the car, sure I'll post the settings.

I would also bee keen to get my hands on those settings :D

I seem to recall getting lift throttle oversteer as long as I stayed on the brakes when turning with my F1...

Gives "Speed" Drifting a whole new meaning.

er.....wouldn't that be brake trailin....lift throttle wud b no brakes....or I don't know what i am talking about....and am a :dunce: well.... up to you people to decide =0) I dont care what u think....Drift it if you got it....skill respects skill

It's definately possible to drfit the F1 car which is apparent by the picture I have here that I made like 3 weeks ago. I would give you all the settings if I still had them. I had to redo my settings back to race since I wanted to go reace the car instead of drifting it anymore. If I ever decide to do it again I will post them in the settings depot.

F1 DRIFT!!!!!!!

Your drivers looking the wrong way...

Yeah I know...I was going on the course the other direction trying to get a drift I liked that would make a good pic so I turned around midway through the course and drifted it backwards and that's when I did that one....Blind drift huh?.....lol

F1 DRIFT!!!!!!!
ive got the same colors on my F1!!
but ya its easy to drift mine. just lift throttle mid turn going 130+ and your back end will come around. as ive found out many times trying to race it.

Letting the back tires wear out is a pretty easy way to start drifting with the F1's, it makes it easier as the back end will kick out at much lower speeds. Drifting with new tires in these cars requires stupidly fast reactions.

hmm so it is possible....good idea on wearin out the tires! i would like to see someone do it in a vid for further proof! Keep driftin ppl its not the destination...its how you get there~!

Throttle off oversteer. The key of the MR layout. I've had it happen to me on the Nurb before. Was a nice spinout at 160+ MPH after words.

Just need to learn how to work the gas. You do not drift with power oversteer though, its different than that...
