What is the best way to beat the F1 Series, I tried using F1 cars and i have won 3 or 4 of the races, but the F1 cars I have just aren't good enough to beat the AI. Is there any car thats not an F1 car that I can use to win the Series?

Do you have the PAL version or the other one?

If you have the PAL version. Win the Polyphony 001 (the black one) That one is the best of the F1 cars on the PAL version. When you do Test Course use the Escudo (assuming you have one) That's an instant win..... Unless you fall asleep. That's all there is to it.

Oh yeah. Pick your pit strategy.

All the F1 cars are easily capable of winning this series. You have to be very precise with them though, sliding them around wears out the tyres much faster. You also need to make sure that you don't spin out anywhere, i.e. if you can't do 30 - 40 near perfect laps in one sitting, go off and practise the course you're stuck on in arcade mode in a slower car, suggest something MR to emulate the F1 handling, until you learn the best line for every bend. Its also vitally important that you set the car up for each different circuit, e.g. don't expect to win the Cote D'azur race with a car that's been set up for Test Course or Super Speedway.
If you can be consistently quicker by a second or 2 per lap than the F094/S then you have the luxury of an extra pit stop over him and that'll mean you can win. Also the laptime of the F094/S on the lap before he pits is usually a good 3 or 4s slower than his usual ones, so you'll gain on him enormously then.

Practise makes perfect. :sly:

Eg Gearing. I always forget about the gearing

Well I just need more practice then, and a lot of asprin. I have to keep my 100%, so if I lose a race I just load the game and redo it anyway so losing wont screw anything up. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

You're running the car as low as possible with stiff springs right? If you are, don't do that, get it off the ground and loosen the springs, your tires will thank you for it. Also, using the "Tranny Trick" Would help too, but GT3 stays true to real life, by which races are almost always won on pit stratagy.
