All right, after watching a video of the sauber c9 i decided i want htat car, so ive set out to win all of the Formula 1 races, but on several tracks my tires wear out way too quickly and im not a good enoug of a driver to get a large enough lead to pit without loseing too much ground. Are there any set-up tweaks that can lighten tire wear or is it just a matter of driving not so aggresive not squealing tires and acclerating a little slower.

Or you can set Driving aid all MAX (20, 20, 10) and it'll Help for your tires, with this all max, i was be able to pit stop same as other or 1 lap more (on RED tires! but it still going good!) and also Set Tranny auto at 18.. it will help from it to stop spinning all the time

And yeah, one more thing, This Driving aid didn't HELP at all for B-spec, so don't use B-spec tho, for ex: All Driving aid is OFF (0, 0, 0): pit stop every 15 laps...
All Driving aid is ON (10, 10, 5): pit stop every 15 laps...
All Driving aid is MAX (20, 20, 10): pit stop every 15 laps...

Nothing change. so Driving aid didn't change at all to B-spec tho

You can also try raising the ride height as I've heard that affects tire wear as well. If your springs are too hard, doesn't that also affect tire wear? In fact, I think all suspension settings have some kind of effect on your tires, although I am by no means a tuning expert so I would ask someone else for more details.

Okay a little off-topic, but can someone clarify something for me: toe in = negative or positive on the slider?

i am having trouble with Nurburgring 15 laps. tried several tuning setups on the formula 1 . anyone have a tuning setup for that race that you can get 2 or more laps on the tires

My setting are

------------ Front Rear
Spring rate : 10.0 10.0
Ride height: - 60 60
toe: --------- 1 -2

Transmission auto setting: 18
Driving aid: 20/20/10
downforce: MAX

Rest of them is Shock, it's pretty good, because of so bumpy on road

And yeah, with that height, transmission, and driving aid help ur tires go a little more so u WILL be able to make to pitstop at lap 2 or 3 (depent how good driver are... i did 3 laps) BEFORE red tires.. :sly:
Hey, i won this race by 1 LAP, so this setting is good

Any Feedback will be AWESOME

Since the AI pits at 2 laps as well you really don't need to get more than 2. I won easily (1/2 lap ahead) with the stock settings except toe set to -2, raised 5mm (10 would be better) and slightly softer springs. See my new write up about the GT series.

Umm...pretty sure toe in is negative, toe out is positive. It would be nice if they would actually say so, but what can you do? Test it out though. Toe out is supposed to create oversteer, toe in is supposed to increase straight-line stability. Mess with the settings and see which does which.
