F1 tires should last as long as the real F1 tire do.

The only thing I dont like in GT3 is how unrealistic the tire wear on the F1 cars is, it should go a good 30 or so. RIght???

Not just F1's, but I see you're point. I mean, a set of soft's on a mildly tuned GTR lasting 2-3 laps! I'd change manufacturer...

I suppose PD had to make a game of it. Doesn't stop it being a pain in the butt!

Yeah, but if the soft tyres lasted 30 laps, no one would ever use anything else. And there wouldn't be any point in having a choise of tyres.

Even though the soft ones are a bit short-lived I think it adds more to the game. Wouldn't change a thing.

Yes they are unproportionate, but so are the distances of the races. Who runs a 5 lap race? No one. Even a 20 or 30 lap race is rare. No one wants to get a car all tuned up and ready to race for a 15 minute event. The "endurance" races are about the right length to be true simulations of real events. I wonder if anyone has done a full LeMans in GT3 ... man, your thumb would be ready to fall off by the end of that one (:

Yeah thats right too the races are to short. But for a race that is not long the tires should not wear away.
