Geronimo, "brinca_ace"

Yeah, what he said...What???

You speak a little spanish, you study the universal dad. you only conduct you language when your sober on couches, and it's very good!

Am I right?

Oh, BTW Omlettes, our colors are light blue and yellow, but since there isn't a car with those colors, I've been going with the Blue and White F1 car.

And Look in the bottom right hand side of your post and you will see a button that says "Edit", as you may know, That will let you make modifications to your post. Alot better than posting twice in a row, Now isn't it?

I figure that when refering to two different people it would be best to address each person in separate entries. I don't want to make anyone feel less important than anyone else. Yes, I know how to use the edit button, and I didn't really give half a crap about what it really said, it's a joke about someone assuming that I spoke Spanish. So WTF do you care about it anyway? Go screw a duck.

Oh, and just so your head stays the same size, don't think you're the only one on this planet that knows what google is. In fact I'm sure that if you look really hard you can find other search engines that can help you find what you may need as well. Be sure to let me know how you do, but don't be worried when I don't give a $#it !

See, I used the edit button. hehe, you're so smart.

ahhh no one skeaks spanish? I said, I speak a little spanish, I studied in college and if any drivers (may have remembered that word wrong) want to talk about cars, that would be very good 👍 Thought maybe YIN spoke spanish but not the case, lol o well

Ya that was the one word I didn't know off the top of my head and I was just too lazy to look it up online, lol. Nice to know someone else speaks a lil' spicy latin language, hehe.

As long as everyone is okay with it, I'm just going to submit my times as I get them. What I mean is that after over 200 laps at Le Sarth I, I've got maybe 20 of them below 3:05.xxx and I can't even get two consecutive decent laps. And to be honest, I'm taking this way too seriously and it's getting to where it's just not fun anymore. And that's not where I want to be with this game, I've been racing this series since the very beginning and I feel as though I am disrespecting the game by taking it the way I am, and that I need to practice to get better, but I can't push myself like I have been. So don't be too suprized if I'm not even close to being in any kind of contention. I've been playing this game since the day it hit shelves, and despite all of the frustrations I've had playing it, none have been this bad. I'm sorry gentlemen.

t1:25.813
t2:55.466
t3:1.20.273
t4:1.40.727
t5:2.06.743
t6:2.32.388
have about .3-.4 room to improve:)

I havnt had much time to practice for this round but im currently where you are GeoQuin with a best time of 3'00.4xx. Theres plenty of room for improvement for me, I havnt taken down any splits but I keep arriving at T5 a good 9 tenths to a second and a half above that time only to throw it all away in the twisties at the end. I should have alot of time tomorow as the only thing I have to do is give my horse a good wash then I got the rest of the day free :)

Crap, I just remembered I have a whole lot of horse crap to scoop up off the lawns tomorow :(

Wait a minute.. You have horses on your lawn? Is this some kind of new lawn mower.:nervous:

I think the horses would be for fertilizer and he'd have cows for a mower and methane gas source for heating the farm.

Sorry guys, this didn't come out the way I'd planned.

It's going to be a bad week for me. I just smashed my bastard controller to pieces. Had it coming though, to be frank.

What's the score with "cutting" corners this week?
I'm thinking mainly of: the first chicane (ie.riding between the rumbles and the gravel); The sharp right at the end of the straight(s) - "Mulsanne" isn't it?; and the last chicane before the finsh line.

Damn this game.

if you read the post no cutting corners but the red tarmac is legal

Yes, but the red tarmac is on the other side of the curbing. Why not just make it a rule that two tires have to be on the track or tarmac at all times? Or just say that only two tires could be in the sand or on grass at any point. Either way, no matter what you do, if you just cut corners or go off the track at all, you just lose momentum and end up with a slower lap anyway.

totaly agree you:tup:

Ok, I got a bit of practice in this morning and managed to take a full 2 seconds off my time, there is still a second or so left in it for me which I am confident I will be able to get.

Im breaking in a new DS2 as we speak  Heres a tip for you, keep the broken one so next time you get a bit frustrated with the game you can smash it up even more instead of breaking the new one :sly:

Maybe I should change my name to Bacon, or Pancakes for this series with sausages and omlettes, eh? j/k guys. Anyway, with us being able to 'use the red' it drastically changes the importance of tcs, which is now pretty much mandatory this week if you want to use the 'reds' and not lose any time exiting turns *sigh* I'd rather not use reds but....tcs here I come

EDIT: Wasted an hour of my life chasing splits and got 0 laps done...pissed to say the least.

Or you can use the old one for parts for future breakages, trust me, I have a surplus of parts for a senario such as this.

the only reason i say you can use the red is becuase if i say no it will be too hard to enforce that

Jump Ace, I honestly think that you can get a better time not using TCS and not using the red than using the red with TCS. I'm sure that after some testing you'll find that to be true. Usually when you get to the red, the curbing kicks the ass end of the car out on you which makes it hard to correct even with TCS, and thus losing tenths to whole seconds and consistency along with it. So I really wouldn't worry so much.

Im NOT using TCS and my best T4 to date is a 1'41.1xx which is only 4 tenths off where YIN is and im confident I can go even faster, I agree with GeoQuin, you lose too much time over bumps with TCS on cause it slows you down to stop the wheels spining, you just gotta learn how to not spin the wheels is all :)

Egads, I'm being left behind. At least in qualifing.

On another note: PS3 is rumored to be released Nov. 17 worldwide. No word on on GT5 though  Price: between $500-$600 Each.:scared:
