Anyone have a good set up for the F1 at Daytona? This race is very draft dependent. Unless you are in the draft you will be left behind. The F1 stalls big time if you are racing on your own.

Any tips and suggestions?

If it's the oval try as low DF as you can. Also sticky tyres, and mess around with the front camber at around 2.0-4.0 for front and 1.0-2.5 for rear.

Set it up so that 6th tops out when not drafting (~220), and 7th becomes your drafting gear.

most people i race online and in time trial go on the very inside edge and you get a considerably faster lap time. as far as tuning goes the car is set. i race with a the new race wheel for gt5 so that might make a difference?

Like stated, I'd go with low downforce and the stickiest tires possible. The F2007 handles well enough that you can take the extreme inside line along the whole oval and not lose time. Not sure for exact numbers, but high gearing is a must. 7th as a draft gear sounds like a good idea, I'd give it a go.

On the other hand, why use the best handling car on an oval? It's F1, not Indy ;)
