I haven't got the exact times. Had to do something else. I'll get the accurate times up tomorrow but I know that my race time is 3'59.588(I think) and i've been in the 45's many times with draft, but consistent mid to high 46's with no draft. I was happy to crack the 4 minute barrier after 6 runs.

I've done a fair bit of fiddling around with the gear ratios. I'm using 7th only as a drafting gear. So it's a long gear so I can go up to around 370-380km/h when in the draft. So 6th will take me to 340km/h along the main straight. So I only use 7th when drafting. For me, that gives me the best total time so far.
 
I hate to do this Animera, but I think I am going to have to withdraw from this
competition. I am starting to find myself "stretched a bit too thin" if you know what I mean. I am not a talented enough driver to run in this event as well as EYS, WRS, the Teammates Championship and the NTSC championship :scared: and still compete as well as I would like too. Unlike a lot of other drivers, it takes me at least two or three sessions at an event to feel as though I have put in my best time, and I just don't have enough time to devote to this one right now :(

This sounds like a very fun competition, but I think I need to withdraw from it, and maybe a couple of others as well, so I really focus my attention on just a couple of series/events at once. Sorry Animera.

Edit: Best way to learn F2007 is to drive with N1´s and that how i improved my F2007 skills, you can try to drift too:crazy:, just laps ,laps and more laps

No worries, you can join in again at any time.
An excellent laptime there MateJH, I'll update the leaderboard when I get back from work tonight.

EDIT: I've created a new Leaderboard and fixed it with MateJH's new race time.

I'm sort of in the same situation as cpp214. I'm involved in 5 comps at the moment, WRS, EYS, Teammates championship, AUS VS ROW(TorcTalk.org comp) and this. I'm really starting to struggle to find time for it all. So I may not submit every round. I really would like to compete in every round in EYS since I run it. That would look bad if I wasn't competing. So i'll get to as many rounds as I can.

Nice time Psycho.👍 Probably a bit left for me. I'm going to fiddle around with the tune a lot more too. Still not happy with the gearing and the way the car feels.

:sick:Here is my first attempt at this combo. I had three runs and came up with this. Think you will agree Lap 2 looks mighty fine :) as for the whole run the lap times need to be improved, :indiff: but I should get them down with gearing changes. Whole run with no AI or Wall touches.

I managed a new personal laptime record as well as overall time with one litte KI contact on Round1, but otherwise clean :crazy:

Hopefully I can break through 4.00.8xx or 7xx soon... my best first and second round were 53.987 and 45.820 but not clean overall :scared:.
If I could drive Round 3,4 as fast as Round 5, maybe there is more possible... 💡

I got it :scared:, and go below the 4.01.xxx and new lap record. Absolutly clean and no KI contact. :)
I am glad and satisfied for the moment, but -0,500 on first round is still possible for me with exact slipstream.

Sorry, Well I can tell you that i've done a 3'59.xxx and a 45.6xx(I think). I'll have another go this afternoon and then i'll post splits.

I'm not at home right now so I can't post them now, but i'll definetely have them for later.👍
 
I am struggling with the gears for this car. I am driving it flat out litterally for the total lap. The car is capable of driving most corners without braking or lifting so the only place I can be losing time is through the esses or my gears aren't at their optimum.

Any tips or hints?
