Didn't find these cars in the dealership. Have they been dropped for GT6? If so, does anyone know why? Are there any other cars from GT5 that did not return for GT6?

I hope so too, I mean the whole opening sequence you see the Ayrton Senna Institute several times. If the only thing PD could do off this whole partnership was a racing suit, I will be very disappointed. A Lotus Formula 1 car or a McLaren one. The age of the V8 and V10 F1 cars, have mercy on me!

no and yes, actually...

the jensen interceptor is gone and the

the

...the gineta... G4... *breaks down and cries*

I know other cars are gone, I was just talking specifically to the two cars in the topic. So...

Probably we're going to see Ferrarri F1 cars return when the Senna content is coming. Maybe more F1-related DLC like historic tracks, e.g. Imola and Portugal.

I'm don't think the inclusion of Senna and Imola is gonna happen...

Why? Just because Senna had his fatal crash on Imola circuit?
As long as they're not in the same DLC I don't see any reason why those two can't be in the same game. (aren't both in F1 2013?)

The "Classic" version of Imola in F1 2013 is not the actual "Classic" version that Ayrton died on, It's not the current version either.

Why would you consider the Academy cars "Cars that didn't return"? They're the same cars that are in the game, without the Academy Livery...

F1 2013 doesn't have Senna due to licensing issues.

The intro of GT6 (after updates) have the old part if Interlagos and later the Ayrton Senna's kart track.

Maybe as DLC, Lotus 76T and Interlagos in May...?!?!

Not true. they are tuned. I just drove a gtr black edition 12 tuned version academy... that had been in my prize folder unused and it was unbelievable. I used it to finish off the supercar seasonal. I just wish I had used it sooner. It killed the field. My regular car with tuning couldn't get close.

I'm guessing because GT6 got the license for him. I tried playing F1 2012 once, what terrible game, bad graphics, and bad physics, I had to almost stop on sharp turns to get the car to actually turn.

Then apparently you can't drive.

They don't have Senna because they don't have the license. PD doesn't have an exclusive license on a person. Just because one game has something doesn't mean they have an exclusive license. I assume now you're going to say that PD have an exclusive license on the 1.6L Miata because Forza doesn't?

You forget the GT4 edition of 350Z. Not a big loss anyway as anyone with a yellow paint chip and correct tune can replicate it. ;)

There is no F1 cars except the formula GT or the light company rocket. But we hope to see the senna lotus or mclaren as DLC...

They tease you at the end of the intro with Senna and that lotus. It will be nice to see it happen.

PD have the license to use Sennas name and image as his family and the Ayrton Senna Institute have granted them permission, hence why you see kids from the institute and Sennas sister Vivian in the opening movie.

A license is not the same as an exclusive license. People around here seem to think as soon as someone has achieved a license then it is automatically exclusive to that game. The only exclusive license I know of is Porsche, WRC, and F1.

Show me another current racing game which is legally allowed to use Sennas name, his image, his 1988 McLaren-Honda suit and is also donating a percentage of all copies sold to the Ayrton Senna Institute.
Seems about as exclusive as you could possibly get.

But it isn't. Just because other games don't have it, doesn't mean PD have exclusive licenses. Especially over a person as that is just absurd. Forza 5 was the first game to have a Ferrari LaFerrari, however that is not an exclusive license either. (Assetto Corsa now has it) Unless you have undeniable proof that it is an exclusive license, stop saying it is.

For the record. Here. The reason F1 2013 doesn't have McLaren is because of another developer, most likely Simraceway as they have licensed classic F1 McLaren cars. Senna wasn't included because of another developer, however this other developer isn't PD as it is a company based in Brazil. (Reiza Studios as pointed above.) Source
"With regard to Senna, obviously we are all huge fans and would love to have him in our game at some point. Again there is a pre-existing agreement with another developer, this time in Brazil, which complicated the issue."

I appreciate your wealth of knowledge on the subject. Very interesting. So why has Kaz said there will be a big update regarding the Senna content in May and why would PD have added Sennas '88 McLaren suit which I paid 500,000Cr for? I'm not saying you are wrong, but alot of what you've said contradicts what the developers have told us already.

They have the license for it, but haven't had the time to include the content.

The reason for Codemasters being unable to get Senna and McLaren content is most likely because when Codemasters gets licenses for F1 series games, they get exclusive deals. The McLaren deal might be exclusive, but Senna isn't. (Both Reiza and PD have it) Codemasters wants Senna, but wants exclusivity. They can't have it so they just don't include it. That's my take on it at least.

I have that game and I don't know what you are talking about.
