F2007 Onboard Camera Change

Is it just me, or did the F2007 onboard camera change after the update that made the steering wheel mounted LCD functional? I really noticed it when I switched to this view on accident, normally on the cockpit view, and saw how bad the ant-aliasing is on the helmet. But, I also noticed that the helmet now covers the steering wheel, perhaps to cover the LCD screen post-update.

It's probably to avoid people complaining that the LCD isn't functioning when you use that view. The bottom looks like it increases the distance you can see a bit, with the camera being a bit lower and higher angled.


And isn't the top picture of the replay view anyway? That view is higher and more downward pointing than the one you use in the races.

You're probably right, I'm sitting at work so I didn' have a chance to double check. I think the view with the visible steering wheel is better either way.
 
Different camera angles most likely, the top one is from a replay while the bottom one may be actual racing. I can tell by the darkening in the first one.
 
Hmmm i would go so far and say they are both replay, there are 2 on board cams in replays and i thought the on board while racing is more on the nose, or am i wrong here?

EDIT: No i am wrong here, the other replay cam is always the same as while racing.
