I'm saving up for one or the other but can't find too many opinions of which one is better , or if there's much of a difference. I already have the FGT and am aware it's better than both of these. Thank you for your opinions.

Ok both it is then ! Thank you everyone for all your very helpful opinions. Please now all of you go back to talking about the same useless things over and over and over again.

I don't own any of them, but I would suspect the 2007 model be the one for lap records and 2010 for race... considering their Aerodynamic profiles.

you got to give your own post more time before recklessly destroying its purpose with a insulting bump, as you said you couldn't find too many opinions of which one is better.

Sorry, your right. Good advice too.

The 2010 should have more grip as it's on full slick tyres. The 2007 is on the stiffer grooved tyres.

I suspect, therefore, that it's a case of horses-for-courses. The 2007 should beat the 2010 on power tracks whereas the 2010 should own the 2007 on little winding tracks.

neither can be driven in any race in the game. I own both, but they sit :(

To be pedantic... neither the F1 2007 nor the F1 2010 can be used in any A-Spec race in the game.

You can race them against themselves in Single-Make (Arcade) races.

Not ideal but better than nothing.

Yes, you can drive them in the game, but there are licensing issues and restrictions.

You can't race them in any A-Spec or B-Spec events.

You can race them in practice mode but only against other F10's or F2007's.

I also rather enjoy taking either one of them on the Nurburgring in practice mode.

You can race them online against other users, but the only cars allowed in those races are F10's and F2007's. If you make a room and go to the restrictions menu, you'll notice a button you can click that says "F1's only".

So It absolutely won't allow a race between say an FGT and F2007? It will only allow the cars to race against themselve? Meaning all the other racers online in that lobby have to have the same machines?

No intermingling of Formula GT and Formula 1 cars.

FGTs can run in lots of races/modes/contexts, the F1 cars can't.

As I've said in other threads we don't know the exact terms of PD's arrangement with Scuderia Ferrari but we can assume from past experience that the licence terms will be tighter than Luca's wallet.

I can't believe you can't race em in ASpec races :( They need to do 1 of 2 things, either add online leaderboards so you can time trial them, or make the FGT a premium so that it isn't so ugly in the replays and will have a rollbar camera.

Are many people racing them online?

I have the 2007. Raced online at Suzuka against 2010, Lost by far guess I bought wrong car.

Wow, did not know this info about the Ferrari F1 cars! Previously, I was desperate to get one, now no thanks!

Thanks to the people on this thread who let me know lol.
