So, I just made a video where it shows a real F40 footage I had on my pc vs the game F40 in the habitual dual screen view. It is not a flying lap, just cruising speed. But still I think it is worth viewing as I tried to emulate the real driver by keeping one eye on the pc screen playing the video and the other on the road in front of me. And since it is dual audio, you can switch from the game's audio to the real audio back and forth.

EDIT: I forgot, the file is 100% playable on the PS3 and you can download it directly to your PS3's HDD from the internet or from a memory stick/pendrive/whatever, you can switch audios too.

how do you switch cockpit cam in replay? I think there are only action and bumper cam?
 
You have to press X to go to bumber view, then Select to select the view you like.
 
Simply amazing.

PD have already exceled in prologue, never mind the final game what i expected of them this generation, saying that they did that last generation as well
 
unbelievable. the thing that most amazes is the drivers hands. that sounds stupid but man, they look real.
 
Its 56mb.......might be a good idea to put the file size warning in your thread. Better yet, upload it to youtube or dailymotion.

Sorry, youtube's quality means ****, and youtube gives a damn about aspect ratios.

And 56MB means nothing this days.

yeah, try post a 56mb image. lol

I meant at least give people a heads up about the size before they download, will it cost you anything to add "56 mb" in your post? Its a very common forum practice.

Most of your movies are around this size, but yeah for the n00bs it's wise to write it down! (no pun intended to anyone, but it says the size once u click on the link and the download begins.)
 
56 megs is a lot when your almost at your download limit :(

What are you playing it through? I had a similar problem. I play it through Windows Media Player Classic without problems.

If you keep getting problems try updating your codecs.
 
Somehow it automatically goes to APPLE player. How can I switch it with windows?

First, if you haven't already, download the video (right click, Save As...) then simply do as 'BloodyJesus' says.

My preference is Windows Media Player Classic or VLC (although I had the same 'stuttering' problems with that)

Ahh forgot about the Right click and save. I thought the video was like a youtube player but in different form.
 
I can't seem to download it...I've already tried right click and save, it comes up with an error.

One thing I did notice on the GT5:P cockpit view (not really noticed it before), is the shadows. They seem VERY unrealistic. I have never seen thick black shadows like that in a car, and I have never seen them move around like that either. Considering how immaculately PD have modelled the cars, they could of spent a little time modelling the light too. Light simply doesn't shine (or cast shadows) like that in the real world.

Even looking at the the actual in car footage of the driver in his F40 proves it. There are no moving shadows on the scale present in GT5:P. To have them in real life, our sun would have to be going supernova!

agree! it's a bit out of date to sit and download things I think :indiff: put it up on youtube ffs!
 
excellent video, but i could only get it to show up in vlc player, not wmp or quicktime
