I dont have that car yet Ive tried winning it endless times but I always get something other. How is this car and is it worth buying?? :gt:

I was really excited to get that car until I drove it.
It's really tail happy. I've messed with the settings soo much and have never been able to get it to act right.

My suggestion to you would be not to spend the money on it. Or if you do don't fully tune the engine and keep the HP down.
I find the sweet spot in the RPM's very narrow.
I love the looks of the car but I just don't drive it much due to the ease of spinouts.

I'll echo boombexus thoughts. I tried it stock around Grand Valley and wasn't all that pleased with it.

Picked it up in the SS enduro. I whipped it around GV for the final race in GT Championship - Beginner. Best Lap: 1'54.798

Granted that was straight out of the box, never having driven it. BUt I was only able to manage a 2.406sec lead on second place.

It may be one of those "Learn how to drive it, and it's awesome" cars. Much like the Cobra.

My thoughts? Spend the cash elsewhere.

I dont ever use it, but i have it. Come to think of it, i hardly use racecars. I normally use my road cars now...odd. But its an ok, good for rally-ing

I've had ALOT of seat time in that car and just like Der Alta said you can learn how to drive it. It just got really frustrating on having to drive the car that way.

Really, Really easy on the gas out of the turns.

Yup, unfortunately, I'll have to be an echo... :D

The main issue is that this is a heavy car... it's no Lotus Elise. It rides like it's on rails... think of a really tight TVR Speed 12 (which is normally a very loose car).

My personal opinion is to spend money elsewhere... it's a neat and unique car, but you're better off with something else...

it's quite fun to drive when you get used to it... it has close to 900 hp when fully modified, so sliding the rear is quite easy, and fun!

The thing with this car is it produces a big whack of torque low in the rev range, so if you stand on it mid corner it can get plenty wild - try running it around Cote d'Azur on superhard slicks!

Actually I found this car extremely fine as far as handling and power. That said, I drove it around Complex String twice before selling it because I needed cash. :D Point is, I loved it!

Well, it has 600hp out of the box - so that's realistic. It's just more fun with 900hp. It's like ice cream with chocolate sprinkles....mmmm....sprinkles....

I'd like both, personally. EA have got the rights to the big red, and it's got me intrigued if one of the non-factory Holdens will let their car appear - you just don't know what the legal agreements are like. One of the Castrols, or one of the Valvolines, maybe.

Of course, the other issue is that Codemasters have got the title rights now for TOCA Race Driver (or V8 Supercars to use the Australian title) so we don't know what the tie-up is there either...

I'm love this Car . :D

The German V8's are pretty cool, too.

I agree about Rally - it's comical from an Australian perspective, because the car's so far out of its normal element there...

The first time I raced my road version Impreza on the SS i won the car. Can't say I did anything special to win it though. I don't really like the looks but the handling is pretty good both on the road as well as in rally. @ least in tostock form. I don't know how it would behave when fully modded. what i do know is that it comes with 600 horses in real life but can it be modded to around 900 realistically.

I think the :ford: Falcon is an awesome car.... get the settings sorted and the tail is fine.... Fully Tuned it's a good racer :gcar:

But try and win it rather than buy it.....:007:

Here in Germany, the gangsters are no chance !!!

the ozzi police have 420 horsepower commodores that leave that falcon for dead...dunno about that VW though...looks pretty damn mean.

i also have it and its great, if u can fully tune it n definately buy some super soft tires and fully ajustable shocks. i did that and it handles great!! :)
