I originally planned to do this for work, but we couldn't make it happen. Everyone had picked a different lineup from one another - it was nearly interesting :D

I'm in.

CAR: McLaren
DRIVER 1: Rosberg
DRIVER 2: Raikkonen

Car: Haas
Driver1: Nico Rosberg
Driver2: Felipe Nasr
15.500.000
Let's see how it'll go

You don't think Grosjean is a tad overpriced there?

You could argue similar that Alonso is underpriced.

I'm sure there's logical reasoning behind it though, (maybe the formula's based on current standings or something).

It certainly looks to be largely based off last season's standings but considering Grosjean is with a brand new team we all expect to be back markers and that things simply can't get worse for McLaren than last year I would probably lower RoGro and raise Alonso if Iwas Famine.

Maybe... maybe not. It's all a little bit of statistics, a little bit of guesswork and a little bit of seeding things to encourage inventiveness. At that price, I'd be tempted to take McLaren/Button/Alonso too!

We won't know who's priced right until three races in - or more :D

Just an idea (though maybe a crap one), what if players who didn't use the whole of their budget, could somehow convert their left-over budget into points, come the finish of the season?

example: £1,000,000 = 1 point.

CAR - Ferrari
DRIVER 1 - Daniel Ricciardo
DRIVER 2 - Nico Hulkenburg

Not a cent to spare.

DRIVER 1 - Max Verstappen
DRIVER 2 - Sergio Perez
CAR - Ferrari

CAR: McLaren Honda
DRIVER1: Lewis Hamilton
DRIVER2: Max Verstappen

Looks fun but oh god this is agonising trying to choose! Any chance of being allowed a mid-season car change as well?

Here goes......

CAR: Renault
DRIVER1: Nico Rosberg
DRIVER2: Kimi Raikkonen

Budget = 5 + 25 + 18 = 48 mil.

Interesting that so far looks like there's roughly a 50/50 split between people choosing worse car + better drivers vs. better car + worse drivers.
