I'd heard things about this, so decided to give it a shot...
Overall, it's a pretty weak "film", and not terribly hot as a documentary either. One of the first stats the guy trotted out set my logic centre on edge. However, it was funny in parts, the concern showed by his doctors was staggering (although to be honest, did not ONE of them realise that a 30-day binge on a high-fat diet would cause some serious side effects?), some of the stuff he did outisde the experiment - wandering around schools, asking about their diets - was intriguing and a little informative. The fact he HAD to Supersize when asked, and he couldn't eat or drink anything not sold by McDonalds, was pretty funny too.
I was left with a bit of a sour aftertaste though. It seemed as if the film wasn't just a dig at McDonalds, or even the fast food industry as a whole, but a push for organic produce.
That said, watch it by all means - it's good for a laugh and might make you think about how much pure crap is in your diet.
