Well, my answers are in. A mixed bag of very precise knowledge and WAGs on my part, this week.

I took an educated guess, and I think I got it wrong becaue I didn't post PRECISELY what they were. Oh well, I still got 21 frickin' points! Woo hoo! Obviously my bonus info paid off!

Rudolph was also mentioned, and that's fine too - they're each as made-up as the others - but got no extra points. 1 point per pair, remember, so nine answers got no more points than eight.

Exactly as it sounds, lager. It's a yeast strain, patented by Carlsberg.

Very specifically, they are both examples of 8-bit Turing-complete programming languages. Each has only 8 statements - in brain**** these are represented by single symbols, though in Ook! they are represented by paired combinations of "Ook." "Ook," "Ook!" and "Ook?".

Ook! is said to be designed for orangutans, presumably based on Terry Pratchett's Librarian, but is simply a variant of brain**** (which is always spelled with a lower case b, despite being a Proper Noun).

So next time someone tells you that tea contains more caffeine than coffee, tell them to shut the hell up.

Yes the "special" prize suits him just fine. You should give Jspec the "Google" prize too, not that i'm suggesting anything.
 
Why, Jpec didn't get full marks or anything, I don't think we need to start "not" suggesting that people are using google, if any does they arn't getting anything for it, just wasting time.
 
He'd have got 19, out of a possible maximum of 26.

BlazinXtreme got 20/26, without answering the 6 point question on Gran Turismo.
 
I'm suprised he didn't go for any of them, you could probably guess from GT4's tracks and get a few pairs right.
