I wish I had been here on sunday. I reckon i got maybe 5 right :)

*Edit*

Awww 3 and a half? :(

Which ones did I get?

1, 2 and 4, with a point for 9.

Aww crap. I put where Renault won the Constructors Championship didnt I? :(

And My answer for the UEFA Cup Q, it used to be called that, i'm sure :(

You wrote "C3". That's not the former name of anything - apart from a Star Wars robot halfway through his construction...

And Max power racing the PS1 video game.

 Pretty sure I got that one right...

C3 is the former name of the UEFA cup, as C1 was Champions' league and C2 the cup winner's cup.

Not really, no. It's used as an abbreviation (in statistical analyses) by UEFA, but the UEFA Cup was never known as just "C3".

"The C3 Champions, Olympique Marseilles!"

Doesn't sound too good...

I just think of trains in the old name.

Thats if i got it right, did i get it right?

Yes, you did - though you omitted the train part (which isn't really required anyway) and mis-spelled it, but you were, essentially, right.

Don't I even get a bonus point for C3? :(

No. Because it's not a name and is actually currently used, not formerly.

Bugger :grumpy:

Not right now, thanks.

I just can't win :(

Famine, you forgot the "e".. :(

:)

Correct answers now posted - no more entries accepted. You'll just have to wait until Sunday...

Meh. Octopodes. I only put octopuses because that's the more broadly recognized term (that's still valid, anyway).

I learned in school it was octopuses... What next, you'll tell me the Earth isn't round?

Famine is Sergeant Pedantic.

It's not. It's slightly squashed in at the poles.

So, when is the next instalment of the Sunday quiz?
