I have been running the DD Pro with a QR1 wheel and was having major issues, the wheel was constantly disconnecting various functions, usually the gear shifting would stop but, sometimes all functions. During practice runs, it would take me to the pause screen and I could just hit the PS button to reconnect and hit “continue”. During live races however, it required a full, wheel reboot. I found out that during a race, if I didn’t panic, it would continue driving my race automatically until I rebooted. Initially I thought it was the multi-pin connector but I now think it was the internal “C” slide connector.
I just took delivery of the CSL Elite Porsche Vision GT this week and also converted to the QR2 wheel base adapter. Problem solved.
I updated to the current firmware and most of the controls are recognized by GT but not all of them.
The blue native mode identifies it as a Fanatec GT DD Pro / Extreme and the red PC mode sees it as a Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel. It would be nice if it identified it correctly and all of the functionality was available.
