I understand quality comes at a price. apparently there's a market for it but, pigs will learn to fly before I hand out 650 euro for a wheel without a base leave alone pedals.

I couldn't justify this price even if I was earning 500 quid a day.

No, you're misunderstanding.

The PFGTWC bundle is PC/PS compatible only. That means that while you can mount the bundle to the XB-compatible CSL DD, it won't be XB compatible.


With that in mind though there's a good chance that, as it can mount to a CSL DD base, it will be compatible with whatever the PS version of the CSL DD base will be.
 
PS compatibility is based on the wheel base the wheel doesn't matter, XB compatibility is based on the wheel.
 
I wonder when we are going to hear more about the Fanatec/Gran Turismo partnership. Its been a good 4 months since that announcement.
 
Probably around March when GT7 is released. New wheel bundle will must likely be released in time for the GT7 release, I just hope Sony allow Fanatec to sell the new PS wheelbase as a standalone for all those people that already have all the other Fanatec gear like wheels and pedals.

I hope not i hope we hear a little more info before end of year. I think they’ll sell it as a bundle, the same way they did with previous ps4(5) wheels. However you would think its not going to be crazy expensive as polyphony is all about making this game accessible to the masses. This is just speculation but i think the wheel base will be csldd, the wheel will be similar to the GT challenge wheel ^ mentioned but with granturismo branding and button specifics. If pedals are included theyll be the csl elites.
 
It might get announced this year, but I think the best you can hope for is that it is out and delivered before GT7 is released.

There is virtually no chance it will be any cheaper than the CSL DD, more likely to be $50-100 more for the base, the wheel will be CSL level and GTS style probably a bit like the T-GT wheel.
