Fanatec clutch not working correctly

I have a full Fanatec set-up using the GT2 wheel, and the matching Porsche pedals and 6+1 shifter. Everything works completely fine other than the clutch - which when I attempt to use it makes the car go insane. When I use the clutch and shift, the car moves into neutral NO MATTER WHAT, and the shifter becomes completely disabled (as does the clutch - the "N" for neutral is greyed out meaning the clutch is disengaged, and using the pedal has no effect). The only way to get it out of neutral is to use the paddle shifters. This happens every time the game receives any input from the clutch - if I just press the pedal in and out with out shifting, the next shift I make throws it in to neutral. The shifter works completely fine without using the clutch and I have re-calibrated it several times to confirm that. If I do a race without touching the clutch pedal, all the shifts go in and register just fine. But the second I touch that pedal it mess up. It is infuriating especially as someone who only drives sticks on the track and 90% of the time off the track. I play many racers on both PS3 and XB360 and have never had this problem with any of them. I have contacted Fanatec support as well to see if they can provide any solution, but I will ask it here - anybody have any idea what the hell might be wrong?

Lift of the gas more b4 u change gear might help but clutch is still very tempremental and needs update

Yes I know, thats how I always drive with a clutch. But with this it doesn't matter at all - I can be at a complete stop not even near the gas pedal, but if I press the clutch in and then attempt to use the shifter it still happens. Of course the car stalls if I let the clutch out without moving, but it doesn't matter. If I press the clutch in at any time, attempting to shift gets it stuck in neutral - moving, stopped, or stalled. It is really odd, I mean any input from the clutch equals moving to neutral, but strangely this doesn't happen with the paddle shifters so I am somewhat wondering if there is an issue with the 6+1 and not the clutch itself.

Paddle shifters or 6+1 with no clutch = perfect shift
Paddle shifters with clutch = perfect shift
6+1 with clutch = car flies into neutral, disengages clutch, and disables 6+1??? wtf lol

Hi yoazzismine, I have the exact same problem with my clutch. I use my setup with the cheap csr 6+1 shifter, and it will shift using the clutch one time but next time I even touch the shifter, it goes into nuetral. Have u found a solution to this problem? By the way, I play gran Turismo 5 on the PS3.

Are you able to connect your wheel and pedals to a PC and use the driver to see if the clutch pedal is operating correctly. On the PC, depression of each pedal should show on the Fanatec driver calibration screen as a smooth and steady progession as each pedal is pressed. If you don't see that, then you might want to loosen and then gently retighten the magnetic module screws on the side of the pedals and also ensure the grub screws underneath are firm. Clutch operation under GT6 is broken as others have indicated - it's overly sensitive to throttle/clutch timing and most folks, including me, are frustrated with how easy it is to generate false Neutrals.

Thank you for the reply. I am able to hook up my driver to the computer, what are some pc games that would work with the clutch?
