Glad people are talking about the PS5 compatibility because I'm super confused on these wheel base force feedback values as it relates to GT7.

Apparently I didn't know that GT7 didn't have full force feedback for the fantec bases until the spec 3 update...So does that mean that there is some calibration with the force limits that the game wasn't able to provide until as of recent. What are there any complaints since the update on force limits being underwhelming in GT7. Honestly I bought the 8nm DD GT base felt like it was pricey for playing GT7 and some WRC titles, but otherwise sufficient. Would more FF on GT7 really improve the game dymanics for people with wheels...I feel like it might be a bit too much overkill for discomfort with really high FF but to each their own I suppsoe when it comes to comfort.
Again, it’s not about max torque for torque’s sake. The idea is that the Podium wheel performs better across the board. If it was about ripping your arms off, that’s unrealistic compared to real cars and yes the DD+ is already capable of that.

ahh I see...its the range and the ability to tune within those parameters, makes sense. I assume the folks who race in the World Series would complain if was too weak

However if going by the recent Youtube reviews, there isn't much difference if any when comparing the new Podium and DD+ so not sure I'm buying into this higher fidelity etc of having a higher nm base.. Having owned the GT DD Extreme don't think I need more torque or any additional sensations, this thing (DD+) is more than a hand full lol.

Think its more about bringing full force to the top line item. Because, despite its initial growing pains gt7 is much more engaging with it.

Hey guys... I'm running a GT DD Pro 5NM on the settings as recommended by Abarth (with a few tweaks here and there).
I've noticed that on straights at high speed, my wheel starts to oscillate at around 250-300kph... and it gets more violent as the speed increases.
And basically unable to keep the wheel straight.

Any guidance on which setting might be causing this? Thanks.

It happens to me with certain cars, can't remember which, and mostly at Le Mans on the long straights. All I can suggest is turning the FFB strength down and increase NDP when/where it happens. Maybe save those settings to another profile on the base so you can switch easily.

It's the worst when I use the Tomahawk at Route X.
My arms are gone after half a lap @ 600+ kph!

It also happened on some other cars where the top speed wasn't as fast, but I haven't been able to figure out which specific cars. 🤔

Is this game specific or does it happen on all games?
