Fanatec GT2 Wheel Issues

First I think its great to see Forza Planet up and running, that was a pleasant surprise for me this morning!

Anyway, I am currently using my Fanatec Porsche GT2 Clubsport wheel with FM4, however I am having a really weird issue. My clutch pedal somehow is acting as the handbrake. I have absolutely no idea why. Can anybody help??

I've checked settings, I have calibrated everything I think, unless pedals need to be calibrated as well somehow. Please if anybody has any answers I would appreciate it, such a waste having these beautiful clubsport pedals and not using them to their full potential.
 
Have you gone into My Profile and checked the control mapping to make sure the clutch pedal isn't assigned as the handbrake? Also make sure your difficulty settings are changed to manual with clutch for transmission. Perhaps manual without clutch defaults to the clutch as handbrake. That's just a guess. I can't test right now.
 
Yea I must have tried every configuration and also made sure to have manual with clutch setting activated in difficulty settings. I don't get why they won't allow you to choose which buttons control what function, they just have general settings 1-6 I believe.

It honestly boggles the mind.

I remember this from my Forza 3.
I used the Microsoft wheel and had a button for the clutch.

When I connected the GT2 the sane thing happened.
Your going to have to change each one and see mate.

Will do. I am gonna try again later on and see. By any chance can you tell me which wheel layout option you are using? Also do you have your wheel connected to the xbox via USB or anything like that?
 
I use the default wheel layout, layout 1, and haven't had this issue. While on the wheel settings screen you can hit X to go to advanced settings. See what happens if you increase the handbrake dead zone all the way to 100, to effectively disable the handbrake. Does the clutch then work as expected?

Remember I only have F3.
You can't connect the wheel to Xbox via USB, only wireless.

Isn't the wheel pictured in the settings.
The CSR is an official wheel, it should be shown. GT2 as well while their at it.

Sounds good. Thats the thing, there aren't any wheel choice options, unless I am missing something. They picture the new CSR wheel.
 
Nope, they only show the CSR in the picture. You can choose different button presets though.

I tried the most logical ones but no luck, I will try them all tonight. Its such a bummer.
 
Go into wheel settings. Below the pic of the wheel layout there are a few options. One says "switch handbrake with clutch". Make sure that one is off/no. I have a Fanatec GT2/clubsports and marked on/yes and my foot clutch became the handbrake.

Good deal, will check as soon as I can, I honestly did not see that option!
