Fanatec GT3 RS V2 Firmware Update Advice

Has anyone done a firmware update on this exact wheel? Could you give me any tips & advice please before I try it, as I've heard a few horror stories of people bricking their wheels! Had a search, but couldn't find anything specific to this wheel. I'm on Win XP Home SP3.
