I purchased the Fanatec GT3RS V2 with the Clubsport pedals, which arrived yesterday.

I'm not sure if it's me or something I'm doing but I can't get my wheel to work.

The problem is when I get to the last step before pressing "x" on the wheel to start a race nothing happens as it just goes dead. All the buttons work up to that point.

Also, when I press the accelerator the wheel vibrates. Is that normal?

I read that you need to set the system date to before 12/2008 but I've also read that with the V2 you don't need to do that. I've tried it both ways and nothing happens.

Do I need to update something? Any experience or advice would be appreciated.

You need to turn on the PS3 mode.

Press that round Silver button and Select button at same time ( very bottom button to the left)

A second later you wil see small red DOT will appear LCD screen on your GT3 V2 wheel. THen you will be able to play it.

You hold it down for 1-2 seconds. Should be one 1 second push and second later it appears on the small screen. Other then that, no clue whats wrong with he wheel.

I've tried it for 1-2 seconds and sometimes longer but still no light. Even though the light doesn't come on the buttons work fine until that last step.

How are your pedals connected?

Yep those are the buttons I'm pressing. My pedal are connected to the wheel via the 9-pin (or however many pin) cable with the green end to the green receptacle. I tried connecting the pedals both ways, via usb to the PS3 and without it connected to the PS3.

Lol...I just got my wheel too this week and I had the same issue. Every one is right, the wheel have to be is ps3 mode.

Press the button that's on the base to the left(behind the left paddle) and then press the select button(the lowest button on the wheel, left side). You don't have to do this during the ps3 menu, only after you load the game. Also make sure no other controller is connected to the system.

Also, wheel vibration when you press gas can be turned off in the RS menu. As well many other modes.

To use Clubsport pedals on PS3 they have to be connected directly to the wheel. USB only works for the PC.

This video will help you though the Fanatec menu options.
Your wheel should have same options out of the box, so no need to upgrade it.

But if it still does not work, visit 911wheel webiste for latest Patch, you have to download to PC and upgrade the wheel though there.

Plug it into the wall, AS SOON AS your PS3 is on, do the button combo and hold when that dot appears it is on PS3 mode.
