Fanatec ordering: no confirmation email, is this normal?

Hello, I just plunked down $760 for the Elite wheel, pedals, and inversion kit and never got any kind of confirmation email from fanatec, or shipping information. All i got was a page that said the payment was received from Endor for $760. Is this the normal proceedure for Fanatec? I've never dealt with them before but I'm a little nervous because usually whenever I buy anything online they send you a confirmation email with expected delivery date or tracking number... ya know... something? :nervous:

When you login to the webshop with your account and look at your other, what does it say?
I reckon the mail might be in a spam filter or it is still on its way to you via mail relay stations, which sometimes can be painfully slow for some reason.

Yes this is normal. I preorderd the first day they were available on November 16. Not a peep from Fanatec, except a confirmation from PayPal that they had been paid in full. I just received an invoice yesterday and a UPS quantum notification today. Communication and order status updates are not among their strong suits.

Well ive been in contact with the web shop in.Usa and I did.not.receive tracking notification. They tracked my order down and guess what they sent it to the wrong customer. So now I have to wait for it to get redirected to me. I highly doubt I will get it before christmass.
I was order 25543 one of the first few to pre-order

Man that's a bummer

That is definitely not fair, but at the same time....stuff happens. I wonder how they would redirect it though. I would imagine since it was part of the first pre-order, the order should've arrived to the customer already.

log into your Fanatec account and see what the status is. It should go from pending->processing->paid->Delivered. (I looked at mine every 3 hours that's why lol). Hope you get your stuff soon! That's a lot to look forward to!!!

I can confirm that this is normal, do not worry tho - you will get your stuff.

My experience:
Pre-paid for the GT3 RS ClubSport edition and PWSS on friday afternoon (23rd September);
Got no notification what-so-ever (I expected some notification to show up on monday but it didn't);
On tuesday I became uneasy, wasn't worried but it's not a nice feeling when you dash out 500 euros literally into thin air;
On that same tuesday I got my tracking numbers, wheel came on friday (30th September), exactly 1 week from the date of payment.

Just don't be worried. 👍

EDIT, nevermind, my mistake it says pending.
So you only had to wait 2 business days for the email then. I ordered mine wednesday, maybe I'll get some sort of corespondence by monday
EDIT AGAIN< I'm a friggin idiot! I forgot i used my other email address, so i checked the right one, and I have confirmation of DEC 21 delivery. GO FANATEC! (you can't blame me for being sceptical right)

Please kill this thread now as i'm embarrassed.

Doesn't mean anything. My order showed delivered for days before I got my invoice and then tracking number. It showed paid as soon as I confirmed the order and processed the PayPal. My invoice does not match what I paid either. It doesn't show the extra $40 for shipping and lists the wheel at 499 as opposed to 539. Definitely room for improvement, but I'll cut them some slack if I get a trouble wheel and pedals. I just hope the firmware upgrade goes ok.

Assuming they can do some sort of redirection of the package at the distribution centre, you may still be fine.
