I believe he was hired in to clean up the "mess" that is customer service and to do pr stuff though?
A company ceo should not be responsible for public relations stuff. It does seem Thomas enjoys it and has a good time doing interviews and such which is fine, but it shouldnt be his responsibility.

All my opinion.

Is the OP on holiday or permanent vacation?

Was this even sanctioned by Thomas?
If it was will we be hearing anything?
There was some good questions in this thread.

Amf7 said he got a temporary ban for something he wrote about GTP Le Mans league.
He asked me to tell you that Thomas has the questions and that he will be back online soon (11 hours).

Insulting the Staff is never a good idea (or encouraging others that do)... Im suprised the ban is only temporary...

+1, i'm starting to get a bad feeling we aren't going to see the answers to some excellent questions posed here...

I have a quickie:

Is the Logitech G27 compatible with the Fanatec Rennsport Wheel Stand V2?

Thanks!

I cant speak for the G27 shifter but its well place for the Fanatec shifters. I guess with the G27 its gonna be mounted on top whereas the Fanatec one mounts below.

Yeah, I've seen the Fanatec way and it definitely looks better. I know the pic isn't of the same stand, but the shifter is mounted in almost an identical fashion using the stock plate:

Lets hope he has some spare time again soon. Although a lot of people with a pre-order want the wheel send before that time I think. :P

Very good idea! What materials did you use or suggest?

(not trying to derail the thread)

I managed to get hold of an old heel plate (Ebay) after someone bought the CSP colour kit. I then cut it to 190mm x 100mm.
I then removed the standard pedal plates and marked the hole positions on the new pedal from the back.
Keeping the right hand side of the new pedal flush with the right hand side of the brake for maximum gap from throttle. I then drilled and countersunk the holes. Do a few test holes before drilling your new pedal (for flushness of bolts) Bolt it on, then trace the clutch wires to the PCB and disconnect the plug, job done.
It now uses both the brake and clutch springs along with the loadcell and feels even better than the original. Also moved the brake adjuster for easier control

My friend just bolted them together with a small metal plate between the pedals, it works fine, but I drive in my socks and prefer the smooth pedal.
I'm sure loads of people have a spare heelplate after buying a colour kit, I'm sure someone could send you one.

Any ETA on the questions? Just wondering. Or will it be on friday when the embargo ends? Which seems logical looking at the nature of the questions.

ASAP really.. Thomas told me to send him 15 so I did.. I emailed him last week to remind him so I'm not 100% on an eta

I am sure he is very busy right now given all the things that are going on. I think we are very lucky this type of conversation is even possible, let alone from the head of the company.

Very true...

Sadly it was Darin who authorised it.. then he left so Thomas had to pick up the pieces.

Hopefully we get answers soon :)

True paskowitz. I just thought Thomas might have mailed amf7 back saying i'll see if I can have this done by... then and then.
I am really glad to see a CEO so involved with his customers and showing his enthusiasm about his products he makes. Not to forget wanting to give us and of course himself the best equipment to enjoy our sim racing hobbies. Plus listening to our demands even, which he said multiple times he wants to hear! I wish all companies and leaders of companies were like Thomas. It leaves a much better impression, at least with me.

I hear you. We'll wait as we know the man is busy. He hardly even posts here currently, which is unusual for him thus showing him being preoccupied. Actually I am starting to miss him here now and again.

I also heard of him, a real inspiration for all of us. I played a high level of Hockey and built a 3 fingered glove and wore a hook prosthesis. One year I finished in 10th place in scoring in the league. Other then my teammates very few people realized I was missing a limb.
Sweeeeet!
