Hello everyone!
So my standard pedals are starting to take a crap on me(again), I was wandering if someone knew of any repair thread/video that can help me fix this. The pedals are just possesed! accelerator wont go 100% and the brake pedal seems to have a mind of its own.
Any help is greatly apreciated!

The sensors have come loose. You need to open them carefully so parts dont fly out (I talk from experience) and re seat them. It will happen again. I opened them twice and the second time I used epoxy glue to hold them in place. Worked great for about 1 month afterwards but I upgraded to Clubsport (The freaking Best upgrade ever!!) and sold those to a friend for 20 bucks.

How did you got the first row of screws out? On mine they are not just regular allen screws, they are some type of security screws...

Just a word of warning - putting the standard pedals BACK together after taking them apart is about 100x more frustrating than the Lotus Elise Top Gear Challenge in GT5...

Ther are t-screws. You should be able to pick up a set from home depot or any hardware store.

So just a regular flathead won't do it?
Ok, thank's for the help man! I'll go get me a set!

Did you ever manage to fix your pedals? Mine broke again and I gave up and ordered Clubsports.

Yup! Hard to believe, but real I just don't want to put up with customer service again! Eventually will have to bite the bullet and order the damn Club Sports.

Hi, sorry for bumping this thread... I've just opened up and reassembled my standard pedal set yesterday without any glue whatsoever, the fix worked but I doubt it'll last. I wonder if anyone on GTP managed to get the pedals fixed and somehow lasting? If yes it'd be appreciated to share what was done.

Guys talk about glueing it and they still fail. My guess is they used improper (rigid) glue. Try a silicone type that that retains a little flexibility, good luck.

sorry to bring this thread back up. I read about Fanatec's customer service being a little slow about slow about these pedals. I also read that Fanatec would offer the clubsport pedals at a discount for anyone who wanted to upgrade. I saw that these pedals are no longer available on their site, does anyone know if Fanatec would upgrade me to the CSR pedals at a "discounted" rate?

The only way to no for sure is to contact their sales department and ask. BTW Fanatec's new CSP ver 2 is rumored for release.

They upgraded me to the CSR for free. Initially, they said they don't sell these any more in the states so I could upgrade to another set minus a discount for for the standard pedals. I emailed back basically asking "what if I don't want to pay any money to upgrade?" The next response I received was "we'll send you the CSR for free."
