First off, let me state what I race, and how I race. I am mainly into Stock Car(Nascar) racing. So, I am constantly turning and holding the wheel to the left. I received my GT2 back in early March and started from there. I was first primarily racing on the 360 with Nascar09 and FM3. Then I got iRacing about 2 weeks after the wheel. FYI: I constantly configure the wheel, and this issue persists.
I run the FF around 30-40 for the 360. at 100 for iRacing, but at 1 on the in-game FF affect. So really, not at all for the PC, only for small rumbling effects. I have noticed that the center is about 10 degrees off with a small deadzone in the exact center 5 degrees each way, but more when you try and turn right.
These leads me to the issue. After a couple months, I have now noticed it more and more leave its center position, or have more of a "deadzone" than center position. I have the wheel Deadzone set at 0, so there should NOT be an issue there. I also realize certain camber/caster settings will change where the wheel's center is. On Superspeedways, when holding the wheel to the right for the camber, I have had to increase my hold to the right by about 10 degrees. This leads me to this. (Random Note: In game, iRacing that is, at some random points, the wheel's center point adjusts slightly, making me hold the wheel about 10 more degrees to the right for the rest of the race. Anyone else notice this?)
It concerns me since I have only had the wheel a few months, and treat is like it is a newborn child. I have not contacted support as of yet to see if there is something I am looking too much into, or if I have a real problem. All assistance/info is welcome, including you Thomas. If this issue is something I need to contact support over, I can make a video showing you all these symptoms.
