With Giles' awesome FF1 still out of the picture, can anyone suggest a good place to do it? Will there be any here?

ff1.co.uk usually does a good job. That said it doesn't seem to exist anymore

Will I have just made a team, lbsf1 Racing, with Rosberg and Kobayashi and a renault engine.

All quite cheap and hopefully will pick up lots of points.

I have also made a minileague for other members of gtplanet to join. Its titled GTPLANET.NET

It seems all my team choices have been taken, so I won't be taking part sadly.

Try selecting different joker races, that's what I did and eventually found one that wasn't used with my team combination.

I'm in. :)

I ran with two combinations, and cycled every joker race.

I was unwilling to continue any further after that. I know it sounds petty, but I am obsessively compulsive about having the team I want. :sly:

I requested entry to the league a while ago but have not been accepted yet.

Fair enough. That sucks though.

I've requested to join the mini league :)

This is my first ever go at fantasy F1. I don't know what the best tactic is. I went for Hamilton, Maldonado, Red Bull chassis and Ferrari Engine. (Belgian GP as my joker race). The way I understand it, you get the sum of the points that your drivers, chassis and engines get? As in, if two use the same car number, i.e. if you have both Hamilton and the Mercedes engines you only get the points once for that car's finishing position, hence why I spread mine out. I don't cover Mercedes or Renault, but I think Red Bull and Ferrari are going to be the front runners.

EDIT: The above is wrong, isn't it? Ah well, i've screwed up my choices then. I would never have went for Hamilton, I would have picked Alonso and gone with both Red Bull chassis and Renault engines. Maldonado would still have been picked though, so cheap!
