fantasy hybrid

if u could hav any car made into a hybrid what would you pick. I need this for a school project, in which i am designing a hybrid. i need to know what new body style i should use, need sum suggestions.

Hybird as in like a fuel efficent craptastic little thing

or

as in taking parts and building one car from many others?

The first one u said, immean what if i designed a hybrid SUV that was very capable of being a contender in the car and drivers ten best, u no, with enough of a ordinary engine for acceleration in the mid 8's, to a 0-60 sprint. but a hybrid engine to run the thing once at a constant speed. What body should i pick that would look good, jus sum ideas plz.

Well then if you wanted a car with super gas mileage, why not find out if a diesle-electric hybrid would be feesable.

If not that check out GM's electric S-10 with its wheel hub motors. The thing smoked a Camaro Z28. I thought that was something really cool.

But if you could design a body on frame truck or Suv with off road 4WD capibilities would be great. And if you could make it tow a boat no problem.

I say start with a TrailBlazer, Silverado, or F-150 body and go from there. A hybrid off roader would be rather impressive.

Once they start making hybrid cars that make a higher amount of HP, they'll start selling a LOT more. I would love to have one...but have 130 hp is just....scary.

Wait, how is that scary? You won't drive a car with 130 HP because that's too low? Hell, my Benz has only 118!

Oh, and, BTW, the new Prius has 152HP.

Not real sure on the whole set up, but there were motors direct on the wheels so they had instant torque and got up to speed really fast. I haven't read a ton about it though. All I know is, it ran a 1/4 really fast.

Scary as in "this F-150 Lightning has turned into a Honda Civic" scary, not "this Honda Civic has turned into a F-150 Lightning" scary.
